Conosco davvero ben poco del post-rock italiano e questo é stato praticamente il mio primissimo approccio. Devo dire davvero bello, anche se non lo definirei esattamente post-rock ma più come un album ambient. I brani sono tutti molto scorrevoli e portano al loro interno una nota piuttosto malinconica che mi fa viaggiare indietro nel tempo.

I have very mixed feelings about this album. Despite the masterpieces like Walking in my shoes and I Feel you I can't really find any other highlights, and it just feels like a "heavy" album to me, where the slower song are the least enjoyable part and they just come around as extremely boring for some aspects.

A really interesting utopian virtual release that makes me feel like I'm back to my childhood playing games on my cousin's computer. Such a weird vibe but that it's catchy at the same time. Only thing I have to say is that at the end it kinda becomes weak and repetitive.

Omg. This is seriously one of the most underrated pop artists ever. Her sister Katie Jane Garside is now way more popular but she needs more recognition too because she has such a beautiful voice. It's not the most unique style of music ever, yet it still sounds like something out of this world, from an ethereal dimension. Such a good fucking album, and Mirror is seriously one of the best songs ever made (and the reason why I decided to listen to this).

A super underrated and unknown indie pop album that even if it doesn't offer anything really surprising, it's still very enjoyable and filled with good vibes. I love the cover too, it's fun and it fits the music.

I have very mixed feelings about this compilation because it certainly has a very sad and deep backstory, she is an amazing singer, but I just don't think it's that unique? I mean it's an extremely simple album that shows an extremely simple lifestyle too. The lyrics are not elaborated, the instrumentation is minimal, it's sweet, fun, but I don't know if it's really my cup of tea.

I've been familiar with Aphex Twin for years now, but for some reason I never checked this release out. It's fun, catchy, overall very good except maybe for To Cure a Weakling Child that I find repetitive and just less catchy than the rest of the album. Not as good as Classics, but still worth it!

This was absolutely crazy! I’ve never heard anything like it before or in general I’ve never heard this band’s name. Such a cool album with many different sounds, very noisy but poetic at the same time.

I enjoyed this album way more than I thought I would, and I think that the title matches perfectly the vibe of the music. I would say summer it’s the perfect reason for listening to something like this!!
I need to check out more of their music since I really enjoyed this one.

I’m using may as a month to challenge myself to listen to a new album every day, and I start off strong with this very beautiful and underrated Shibuya-kei album. I am not the biggest fan of this genre but this was a very particular gem, more focused on the lounge side rather than the typical pop side that I tend to find quite boring after a little.
I really like the album cover too!!

Why isn't it longer?

I listened to this album for the first time at least 7 years ago when I still didn't know almost anything about rock music. Even so, I found it really captivating, but not something I would have probably listened to again. I owned my dad's cd copy of it, and ended up selling it without thinking about it.

I was unfortunately half up half asleep when I listened to this so I don't remember much of it but holy shit Elephant is amazing. A very psychedelic album that sounds perfect for summer. I definitely need to check it out again because my terrible lethargy erased a few songs from my memory.
Highlights:
- Feels like we only go backwards
- Elephant
- Nothing that has happened so far has been anything we could control
- Sun's coming up (so beautiful but the outro is wayy too long)

Definitely a very sweet and mellow album that reminds me of summertime, but somehow in some aspects it sounds pretty unexpected or surprising. I like that it's a bit unpredictable, because it doesn't follow always the same bedroom pop melody but it's more rich, with amazing synths and good vocals.

Fav songs:
- Vivienne
- A long drive back
- Transitions (yeah ik it's an interlude but it's so cool)

Super cool and sexy album, i feel like it sounds pretty different from any of the stuff they've ever made but it's still very enjoyable. At the end it becomes kinda weaker and this might be the only negative aspect of this album, especially when it comes to the last song... not good.
Overall good and definitely a great start for their career
