Ob-La Di, Ob-La-Da, Don't Pass Me By, Savoy Truffle, Cry Baby Cry, and Revolution 9 don't stand out as good Beatles tracks. Therefore, I would rate this album a 7/10. However, it does feature several amazing songs, such as While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, and Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey, which are all exceptional.
The mixing on this album is incredible! I was blown away by how great it is. Giles Martin's remixes can be hit or miss, but I think having George Martin supervise him for these remixes really paid off. That might be why they sound so amazing. I love how the songs flow into each other from different albums—it's fantastic. However, Octopus's Garden sounds pretty weird, but overall, the rest of the songs sound fantastic. My favorites are Because, Eleanor Rigby/Julia, Blackbird/Yesterday, and ... read more

I'd give it an 8 out of 10. There are a few songs I'd get rid of since they're not the best, but overall, there are plenty of amazing tracks, so it's an 8/10 for me.
I'm really happy I finally decided to listen to this whole album. It's amazing, definitely one of the best albums ever. Born Again So Many Times You Forget You Are is easily their best song.
This is my favorite Beatles album. The only song I don't like on it is Yellow Submarine. It's a pretty bad song, but the rest of the album is amazing. My favorite songs are Eleanor Rigby, I'm Only Sleeping, For No One, and Tomorrow Never Knows. I'd rate it a 9 out of 10.
This compilation features some amazing songs, and it's interesting to note that most of them were unreleased before this album. Elliott Smith's songwriting is amazing, but in my opinion, I find Fear City and See How Things Are Hard a bit dull. The rest of the songs, though, are fantastic.
This album is amazing! If you haven't looked into how it was made, you really should. He created it alone, isolated in a cabin with just one microphone. My favorite tracks are Flume, Skinny Love, and For Emma. It's a solid 10/10—an indie folk classic, without a doubt.
This album is incredible, mainly because of Lauryn Hill's amazing singing voice, but her rapping is impressive too. It's definitely one of the best albums of the 90s, with very well-produced tracks.
This album is amazing. I love the production, and the strings sound incredible. The standout tracks for me are Waltz #2, Baby Britain, Bottle Up and Explode, and I Didn't Understand. However, while Amity is a fine song, it doesn't quite reach greatness, so I'd give the album a 9/10.
This album is incredible! His voice has a raw edge that's different from his other albums, and I absolutely love it. My favorite tracks are Roman Candle, Condor Ave, and No Name #1. Although his self-titled album is superior, this debut is still remarkably impressive. There isn't a single weak song here—it's a solid 10/10.
I don't listen to this album much because it's too sad for me. It feels weird to say it's great because of its themes, but it's really well done.
I love this album; it's amazing. The songs are devastating, like Elliott Smith but more childlike. My favourite tracks are Walking the Cow, Hey Joe, and Keep Punching Joe. The production is simple but charming, with a lo-fi quality that I really enjoy. It's an amazing 10/10 for me.
This is my favourite project from 2023. There's so much potential here, and it's beautifully produced. It's really sad that there won't be any more projects from him. Rest in peace, Kai. <3
If the production was more stripped back, I'd like this more. Nonetheless, the songs are still enjoyable, so it's an 8/10 for me.
This album is just amazing. You can hear how much his sound has grown since Roman Candle. I still love Roman Candle, but the songs on this album are catchier. The standout tracks for me are Needle in the Hay, Christian Brothers, Coming Up Roses, St. Ides Heaven, and The Biggest Lie. I'd give this album a perfect 10/10; there are no low points. If Elliott Smith never released anything after this album, he'd still be a genius in my eyes.
