Did not realize I haven't rated this, but I'm honestly too tired to review it outright. I'll take a long break from this site first.
Mural is a great song… but Lupe feels like a great writer for English teachers in suburban neighborhoods more than anything. Maybe it’s just not my thing.
Surf Gang’s production grew on me on my second listen, and Earl is really nice
My guilty pleasure, from when I was being my most childish. However, I hold that version as my guilty pleasure as well, almost like gummy bears at night after you've brushed your teeth.(oh, and you have braces.)
A shot up in the park, a old fucking basket because it's the one in the back. *Brick*
Busted beats -hand me downs- drops into Too Deep for the Intro. and now I've become incapable of missing. by the end, I'm practically glowing. I'm happy. I'm childish. ... read more
This album’s so interesting. Well, what this album represents to me. Cole came into my life and gave me happiness. Jogging while hearing the Off-Season, the “raw” spirit on Friday Night Lights while hopelessly missing shots in sunset at the park. So tis the’ culmination of Jermaine.

I don’t really critique too hard, but this should probably not be a 86, more like a 79-81. Im going with 77.
Now, about the album. Redveil’s sankofa is an emotion-powered maximalist album, with almost Igor-esque production and strong bars and lyrics. It feels both ... read more
