The thing about crankdat's style is that it has little restraint or subtlety. This works well sometimes, but many other times it falls flat.
This track is a decent example of how Crankdat's lack of restraint hurts the song much more than it helps.

That's a tearout song alright. I enjoy my fair share of tearout dubstep, but man, so much of this type of music just feels like it's spamming gun basses and trying to be as in your face as possible. When it feels like artists such as Helasex and Marauda have already pushed the limit for how "hard" and aggressive you can go. God I love Fox as a singer. Bruises is just one of those songs where everything it does it does right. The only word I can think to describe this song would be "punchy" because of how well everything hits.
Acid love is one of the best pieces of melodic dubstep ever released.
I'm just happy to see a major artist trying to make dubstep that diverges aesthetically from the norm.
