Luci - All My Thoughts
90

One of my favorite Dion Timmer tracks

Karmin - Hello
NR

Accidentally stumbled onto the whitest thing I've ever heard.

Crankdat - TYPE SH*T
40

The thing about crankdat's style is that it has little restraint or subtlety. This works well sometimes, but many other times it falls flat.

This track is a decent example of how Crankdat's lack of restraint hurts the song much more than it helps.

TYNAN - petah
70

Unironically one of the best meme tracks I've heard. (Not a particularly high bar, mind you, but still noteworthy).

Virtual Riot - What U Got
75

Not a combination of names you'd expect, but the result is pretty fun.

beastboi. - CHOKE
70

Fine enough, though far from his best imo.

Edit: it's grown on me

Excision - Encore
50

You ever had this feeling that a song is trying to hard to be heavy that it actively goes in the opposite direction?

Yeah.

Flume - Hi This Is Flume
90

What has to be wrong with you to make something like this?

Akira Khan - Obliterate
85

I regret not talking about this sooner, but holy crap this dude is cold.

Will Smith - Pretty Girls
50

You could do worse...

Tokyo Machine - FACTORY RESET
70

Every so often I find myself rediscovering the fact that Tokyo Machine can make decent music.

Excision - INSANE!
45

That's a tearout song alright. I enjoy my fair share of tearout dubstep, but man, so much of this type of music just feels like it's spamming gun basses and trying to be as in your face as possible. When it feels like artists such as Helasex and Marauda have already pushed the limit for how "hard" and aggressive you can go. You're left with a lot of music that tries to reach those same heights but are nowhere near extreme, creative, or just plain fun enough to feel ... read more

Fox Stevenson - Bruises
90

God I love Fox as a singer. Bruises is just one of those songs where everything it does it does right. The only word I can think to describe this song would be "punchy" because of how well everything hits.

Trinergy - Acid Party / I Wanna Party
80

Acid love is one of the best pieces of melodic dubstep ever released.

San Holo - AN INTRODUCTION TO WHOLESOME RIDDIM
80

I'm just happy to see a major artist trying to make dubstep that diverges aesthetically from the norm.

DJ Snake - RELOADED
80

This song would be an easy 90 without that awful vocal

"I reads as if a lot of the personality that made Disciple what it once was has been stripped from it, and they think that the label can run off of brand recognition alone. Which, in fairness, might not be entirely wrong if the song selection manages to be consistently decent to good."

"NGL, I liked it better when the bar was on the side. It made the covers feel like they could be CD's idk."

"Whenever a project is rated by non-edm fans it seems to get a lower score than it really deserves. Not always, but often enough that it makes a pattern."

On SVDDEN DEATH - Shallow Land Burial (Wooli Remix)
"@OctoMarkus the voyd compilations felt like a love letter to the Dubstep scene. This remix feels like Wooli got his hands on the SLB stems and slapped them on a track he already had made for clicks."

"No amount of warning could have prepared me for that drop. Funniest song I've heard all week."

"You said what I've been thinking for a while now. Compared to the Upgrade EP, Pixel Terrors new direction pales in comparison imo."
