Deathconsciousness is a standout creation of the modern age. it is the most emotionally expressive album i've ever heard in my life, every single song is an experience and a PHENOMENAL one. i can't count the amount of times i've almost cried listening to Holy Fucking Shit: 40,000. Earthmover on the other hand is honestly beyond verbal portrayal, you just have to put your headphones on yourself and listen to it to understand what i mean. the muffled vocals are also what get to me, ... read more
very good pop album, it's a nice listen with family/friends though not something i'd personally sit down and put on.
i don't speak a single word of Russian, but this album is just absolutely PHENOMENAL. the soviet and very depressive lifestyle vibes it gives off is just so weirdly melancholic. i often find myself daydreaming walking through some very snowy neighborhood in rural Russia or any ex-soviet country while listening to this album, or any Molchat Doma album to be frank, and i love it. there is not a SINGLE bad song on this album, and it just deserves so much more popularity. 100/100 NO DOUBT.
this album is very forgettable and some of the songs are just downright bad and horrible to the ear. in my opinion this is The Strokes' worst record.
really really good comeback album by The Strokes, really enjoyable listen and i come back to it very often. songs such as Ode to the Mets and Selfless are very deep and emotional too which i adore.
i like this album, not very memorable tho except some iconic Strokes songs which i come back to such as What Ever Happened?, Reptilia and 12:51. it's nothing too special for me and like i said the songs are very forgettable and ordinary.
this album is very hated but it's honestly my favorite Strokes album, it's very experimental and i feel like the genre differs from a song to another which i love. great album
one of Kendrick's best work, though not really a big fan of it and i usually don't come back to songs from this album as much as his others but i can definitely understand the hype around it, was a very enjoyable listen overall as well.
absolutely disliked this album, really derived from the usual rock sound Paramore really exceeds at, which I found really disappointing.
i think this album is definitely not for everyone, but i absolutely love it. i feel like Black Milk make you feel like you're in a spy movie trying to infiltrate some secret facility, and Angel is just an unbelievable track that i think is so well mixed and just the crescendo it gets to makes you cream. one of my favorite albums of all time.
as much as i love cocteau twins, this album is just not for me, and i feel like some of their other work is way better. i enjoyed some songs such as Frou-frou foxes in Midsummer Fires and Cherry-coloured Funk.
edit: this album is so good
one of my favorite albums, skinny love is probably one of the most saddest songs of the century.
