this stuff is so good. genuinely so good. so beautiful so UGH CHARLIE'S SCREAM IN DANCERS I HAVE CHIIILLLLLS CHILLS I TELL YOU

pretty good.

Seriously though this stuff genuinely rivals some of the material from when Isaac was in the band. I know they're the same band and stuff but the fact that they've been able to pick themselves up and put together this stuff in under a year is just incredible. Hats off !

This is where I wanted them to go. After hearing 'Lungs', this is the place I wanted FATM to end up at.

Stylistically, this feels like the most mature of all five records. 'Lungs' was playfully creative and mysterious, while 'High As Hope' was emotionally stripped back and honest. They all had consistent themes (for better or for worse), but 'Dance Fever', for me, really rivals 'Lungs' as their best.

It's stylistically consistent, but not to the point where it feels like it's too much, and ... read more

And the award for the most obnoxiously long album title goes to....!

Nah seriously, that'd be Lana Del Rey.

This album is everything Lil Yachty's 2023 release should have been. At points, it has the same sort of psychedelic vibes which I LOVE, and was really wishing I could love with Yachty's album. It's worth mentioning ... read more

Heralded as one of the best albums of the year so far by music fans and critics alike, I knew this was an album I had to get round to at some point. Unfortunately I feel like a single listen isn't enough to give this album the time it deserves, so take this score with a lot of salt.

What I get from this project is that it's got a SUPER emotional vocalist. His delivery is melodic and fragile at times, but he's effortlessly able to go from that to completely deranged-sounding.

There's not a ... read more

I’d heard a lot of good things about BLUSH last year, but never got round to listening to it. This album is in a weird place for me right now, and I’m not really sure what to score it.

I was tossing up between a high 7 and 8, but decided on the 8 because of the unique sound this project has.

At the start, in the first few tracks, I was worried that this album would be 45 minutes of the same, but the second half has some incredible highlights that can’t go uncredited.
