It's a solid live album. Black Pumas are groovy as always. I love the sound, but the sound is the same throughout. Which is a good thing- but it lends to be perfect music for a room, rather than music to sit and digest.
This is a wonderful album from Daniel Gum. Underappreciated doesn't begin to describe it. The production, instrumentation, and musical choices throughout are sublime. This lends to a listening experience that can only be described as amazing. This has it all- ranging all the way from excited and upbeat, such as on "Ain't Much Time Left for Summer", to reserved, bittersweet, and quite touching, as on my personal favorite track "Met You Too Soon".
