Fascinating album. Western-themed noise/sound collage is not something I've heard before and I'm here for it! The closer being this eerie, distorted version of what is apparently a popular country track from the 60s was very cool. I didn't even realize this was another project by Reverse Baptism until after listening, but it totally makes sense despite being quite different.
It feels like it's trying so hard to be ominous that it just falls flat. Which is odd considering there is so much to pull from the subject matter of the Vietnam War to make for a terrifying experience, but most of the time the vocals (sampled or original) are completely unintelligible and often have some bullshit thick reverb or flanger on them so it ends up feeling quite empty.

Not sure how to rate this one. I'm not really into gorenoise, I vastly prefer noisecore, but in this case it really works. It does a lot to make the listener feel like they're in Guantanamo, everything feels so grimy and disgusting which is only accentuated by the truly terrifying interview clips scattered throughout.
