First few songs actually really nice, I liked High As a Kite in particular. It sort of falls off towards the end, but it was never terrible to me. Overall, it's a decent album.
I did not get the hype for this one at all. Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm having trouble understanding why this is considered their best post-90s album. I didn't really vibe with the bland, happy-pop song sound of this.
Best Songs: Jacked Up, L.A. Girlz
Worst Song: can't even remember a lot of these songs rn, so idk
Not a *huge* comeback, but definitely their best since Maladroit. Really hits it stride in the second half. I find "Go Away" insanely catchy. Foolish Father is a powerful climax, and the Futurescope trilogy is an entertaining experiment from Weezer. This album was a bit more ambitious than their past few releases, and it resulted in a much more interesting project.
