Would have been great without her singing. Sounds are sweet but too much profanity it doesn't fit them. I hear the spiritual sound she picked up from Hawaii but her lyrics are a disgrace to the culture.
Very happy to hear this. It's a reminder that she has grown from her past but is still using what is signature to her style while still primarily keeping it fresh. Really nice revival!
Folklore is a pretty, chill and relaxing album - But it's obvious Taylor is trying to court back the same audience that made her a star when she was a teenager, the audience she called racist and bigots and rejected for a more mainstream audience. Sorry but she can't ostracize millions of people with her politics and then expect to have them back when the pop world gets bored with her.
I love her..howerver the production...the sounds overpower her in several songs. I hear mostly thumping, bass, beats, and they just throw in Ms. Keys as a background filler.
In my personal opinion, the song is okay but it’s sounds like if it was rushed and not thoroughly made. I love BLACKPINK and think that they deserve the best, but this comeback is not the best. Disappointed Hope.
BLACKPINK has come to an all time low in terms of music production. Do their producers not care about quality at all? For such a big name like BP you would expect them to have quality songs and lyrics, instead we're getting regurgitated concepts of DDDD and bare minimum songs. Their company cares more about clout than quality.
Don’t get me wrong , I’m a devoted fan of Lady Gaga’s but l’ve got to be honest here. Each song on this album sounds only slightly different than the last. Gaga has always been consistent with releasing unique dance songs but also powerful ballads that pull you in - she always sends a message. Something got lost in translation here. I see a work of art (which is her aesthetic) but there is no depth behind it. I will cross my fingers for the next album.
Is (G)I-DLE really a 6 member group, or is it just Soyeon ft. Minnie and Soojin? The title track "Oh My God" seemed rather incomplete much like "Señorita" did last year... The other songs on I Trust' also seem to follow the EP's title with a steady pattern of empty choruses with simple phrases (example: "Luv U") and beats instead of choruses that consist of actual singing. "Lion" is the only song with a real chorus worth listening to, and the only ... read more
Not sure where things went off track with such a promising single like "I Love Yous", but everything else here is bland and boring. Nothing more frustrating than when someone who is known for their glossy pop gems (Love Myself, Rock Bottom, Capital Letters) thinks it's ok to phone it in and deliver this kind of crap to their fans after a 5 year wait. Hard pass.
So disappointing. sounds the same as any other blackpink song. i liked blackpink for a while but Square Up made me realize that all their music sounds almost exactly the same with the same recycled beats and this song isn’t an exception. at least her rapping is good. i hope blackpink or solo members release a song that doesn’t sound like a remix of their first 4 songs like SOLO and Square Up do.
Passing by charts and each genre and I see this ... Get Right was as right as she could get but all of this other garbage she's been ewing is recycling or just not good enough but than again. J.LO is a studio singer, she needs to just stick to dancing and being a performer but not so much in the singing department
I also believe that the choice to release "Rare" as a single is a very poor choice, it carries a great message but it’s not single worthy, it's too melancholy and has a forgettable hook and chorus.
I believe that we all expected this album to have a few more iconic tracks/hits than it does. I also believe that the choice to release " Rare"as a single is a very poor choice, it carries a great message but it’s not single worthy, it's too melancholy and has a forgettable hook and chorus. While it's not my personal favorite track, "Ring" has that uniqueness that could potentially make it catchy hit. "Vulnerable" would make a great follow-up single.
I feel like Meghan just sticks to one type of melody and that causes all her songs to legit sound the same. Some are really good, but others sound generic. I would really like if you could branch out a bit and try different types of tunes, melodies, etc.
Christina Aguilera is one of the few artist of her time to be able to reinvent herself so effortlessly. Her voice breaks any genre barrier.
Britney’s best album since Blackout. An absolute pop masterpiece. Best songs include: Love Me Down, Just Luv Me, Slumber Party and Liar. The only thing that I hate most on this album is the album’s cover. Yes it's beautiful but cropping the pictures from the MV and using it as the album cover is not appropriate. The album cover should be better.
I’m worried about this one. It might go into the same groove that all the other pop artists have been going into. What About Us is repetitive and doesn’t have anything special that pulls me in. It’s light and more electronic instead of throwing off that rock-rebel vibe. She has a good voice at least. I just hope she doesn’t botch this album as bad as Katy Perry botched Witness. T hope every song isn’t drowning in political opinions, either. That gets old extremely ... read more
Can't tell her songs apart any more. Same generic radio sound she's been riding for the past few albums, with the usual embarrassing acoustic songs thrown in so she can pretend she's "deep". If she's literally just going to put out the same album every few years l'd rather she just pack it in.
It got me dancing, in my feels, empowered, and upbeat. I enjoy her songwriting on her own albums and others. Probably would’ve rated this album more if I was a huge pop fan. Definitely a Meghan Trainor fan though.
