Kraftwerk - Minimum-Maximum
94

Simply amazing production; some of the best I've heard. The live versions of these songs way beat the originals in many ways. THE ROBOTS ROCKS

Gotye - Making Mirrors
88

State of the Art at 78 is DIABOLICAL. IT BANGS.
I think its sad that Gotye didn't release much after this. I think generally on the strength of his musical personality he could've become one of my fave artists ever and of this century.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Rust Never Sleeps
95

WHAT. INS'T NEIL A COUNTRY/FOLK ARTIST. THE BACK HALF OF THIS ALBUM IS NUTS!

福居良 [Ryo Fukui] - ライヴ・アット・びーどろ '77 (Live at Vidro '77)

Isaac Hayes - Hot Buttered Soul
99

Wow. Stunning. So many great albums recently!

Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
98

one of the all time classics. Universally beloved and very spiritual! (there seems to be a bell curve with spiritual music where it either lies at the bottom of the barrel trash or its some of the best stuff ever made)

Guru - Jazzmatazz Volume 1
96

Lonnie from expansions on this project!

Talk Talk - The Colour of Spring
93

There are hints of what is to come, but i like this albums pop sensibilities too.

Eddie Hazel - A Night For Jimi Hendrix
94

The recording is pretty bad. But, this cements Eddie Hazel, simply on the voodoo child (really, voodoo chile) performance as one of the best to ever do it. Insane how he took Jimi's hardest jam and made it his own.

Liminal - Live At Anemoia Festival Oct '23
96

WOW this is AMAZING. Its like king gizzard but I actually prefer it. Insane production and energy for a live album. CHECK THIS OUT

Enya - Shepherd Moons
93

Beautiful.
The bonus track edition's bonus tracks are amazing. As Baile, and Oriel Window. Beautiful.

ISIS - Panopticon
95

Incredibly solid metal - glad I found some new stuff! The voice takes some getting used to though (I’m not a great with that stuff yet)

Radiohead - Kid A
96

It s goo d.

AJR - Born and Bred

"@recordmusic18 fair enough. For me personally, sitting through the 6 hours did feel terrible - I think when the changes happened in the music (which they did between stages) it got really creepy because I was listening to same music until it suddenly changes (particularly in stage 4). For me if the length was shorter the torturous nature of dementia would not have been as strong. Though I get ur point"

"@recordmusic18 nah with that one they were legit trying to emulate dementia - it’s not supposed to be an enjoyable listen so I think the arduous length is excused (let me tell u as someone who’s grandpa had dementia an album has never terrified me more)"
