Besides one or two awkward tracks, this compilation is full of great songs.
It’s hard to find a better hardcore album than this. The mix of the DC scene and influences of the New York scene are so prevalent and it’s meshed together perfectly. The reggae cuts from this are also done really well
This album opened my eyes when it came to so many aspects of music, I love it so much
For whatever reason this long-winded project just resonated with me and I love it. Especially the run from track 9 to 22, those are all incredible
It would be perfect if it wasn’t for the distracting, bad, lyrics in some moments
This album holds up so well as one of the greatest. Every song smacks and the off kilter feeling of some of the tracks creates a really cool, unique aesthetic.
This might be the greatest album of all time. Everything went right on this album, every track offers something new to the album and the dark aesthetic is done so well
While some tracks were a little forgettable, there were also some powerful songs about processing a relationship changing and ending
This was an oddly enjoyable listen. Nothing crazy but consistently solid.
Trap perfection. The delivery of the seemingly simple lyrics add a lot of unexpected nuance to the tracks
Ska done so well. Every track is great. I highly recommend to anyone, especially if they are new to the genre
This third stream classic perfectly embodies a certain aesthetic. One of my favorite listens I’ve ever had
The perfect punk album. Lyricism is incredible, catchy riffs from east bay ray, and the production is a nice change of pace from the sound of most other Cali punk bands of the time
So much nostalgia and memories attached to this great project. Emile Haynie is a great producer and did a great job on this album
The highs of this record are so incredible but the project lacks consistency at some points
This album influenced post-punk so much, and also happens to be one of the best albums ever made
