Just finished listening. He dropped it early. Oh my god, this is otherworldy. This is a type of album that defines a decde.
This is not an album, this is an experience. This album feels like climbing a mountain, and that outro is summiting. Getting to the top and looking at the beauty that cascades below. Everything you worked so hard for being laid out in front of you. Wow. Wow. Wow.
This is exhilarating, something like a roller coaster, that just goes and goes and goes. This is so ... read more
Jacob definitely has something but I think it's hidden under so many layers of fuckboy pubescent corniness that his actual real skillset never brims it's head. He's fallen into the shitty emo pop trend that every single washed up mag-con boy has done at some point and it just funny as hell to watch. I already knew what I was walking into with this EP just by ... read more
This was a solid project. I somewhat wish that they would take this project in a less plain direction then what both of them usually do, but I guess this works too. Just stuffed with sadboy (and girl) piano ballads. What was so cool about brent i was that it had so much ummph in moments like "scared". This album is just moody and sad. The reviews on this album seriously leave me wondering if anybody here actually listened to it in its entirety without a bias. This album is groovy, funky, goodness. Every song on here (excluding Heartbreaker and 2000 Watts) is above a 7. Why do yall hate this? I don't get it. This album isn't perfect, but its really really good. I guarantee if Sony didn't do such a bad job putting this album out, it would have amazing reviews.
This is a masterpiece. An essential. A classic. Treat it as so.
