Call me crazy but I liked Don't Be Dumb marginally more than all his other albums. It's a good album guys. Definitely got some of his best tracks from STAY HERE 4 LIFE to I Smoked Away My Brain to HELICOPTER its beautiful.
Favourite - STAY HERE 4 LIFE

It was alright, just not good as his other albums. I feel like some songs let this album down while Praise the Lord and Purity resemble Rocky's expertise CALLDROPS and OG Beeper immediately let it down. I didn't hate it though.
Favourite - Praise the Lord
Least Favourite - CALLDROPS
I can see why this album laid the groundwork for ASAP's stardom. The features, the lyrics, the beat is all exemplary and more importantly meaningful. It was enjoyable but more importantly a start for greater things to come.

AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP really grows on you as an album. Although I was originally not fussed either way I think after a few listens you really get the brilliance of the album. Side note why is Joe Fox on half this album.
Favourite - Max B/ Jukebox Joints
Least Favourite - Better Things
Still Crazy After All These Years is Paul Simons second pinnacle album in my opinion. One of my favourite Paul Simon songs is on this album which definitely boosts my appraisal for it (50 Ways to Leave Your Lover)

Unfortunately not Graceland. Fortunately Paul Simon. I liked this album to be fair the highlights are definitely Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard and Mother and Child Reunion. Paul Simons self entitled album is good in my books.
Favourite - Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard
Least Favourite - Papa Hobo
Graceland for Paul Simon is a tribute to South Africa, his divorce and Elvis. For me Graceland is the car rides I took with my dad as a kid. Remembering every line on my way to my Grandma's in Norfolk. Thank you Mr Paul Simon.
Favourite - Graceland/ You Can Call Me Al/ Diamonds On the Soles of Her Shoes
Least Favourite - Homeless
Tracy Chapmans self entitled is easily her best. There's a reason she can silence the entirety of Wembley with just her voice and guitar performing Fast Car. This entire political and social journey from Talkin' Bout a Revolution to For You is amazing.
Favourite - Fast Car
Least Favourite - Behind the Wall
In my eyes very overrated by the critics with the Soft Bulletin. Don't get me wrong its representative of the epitome of the Flaming Lips discography but 5 saying its 100? It's a wonderful album nonetheless.
Favourite - Waitin' for a Superman
Least Favourite - The Gash
The Flaming Lips provide Transmissions From the Satellite Heart as a direct beam of sound to the soul. A more art rocky album than the psychedelic genre of their music but in some aspects more developed/ interesting.

I listened to this for the first time and immediately bought the album. One of the greatest concept albums I have ever heard that encompasses the duality of life. Yoshimi's battle with the "pink robots" is not only heartbreaking but beautiful and thats what I think life is all about. A battle between beauty and despair.
Favourite - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots pt.1
Least Favourite - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots pt.2
The end of my De La Soul journey but arguably a more meaningful album than what has been presented so far. I definitely feel J Dilla's influence in this album and the east coast hip hop ability in their style.
Favourite - Long Island Degrees
Least Favourite - Betta Listen
Buhloone Mindstate is just another reiteration of what De La Soul do best. Everything remains calm, jazzy and true to East Coast Hip Hop as the last. Unfortunately in more of a personal sense it is riddled with skits, which is fine with a concept but that was lost along the way for me.
Favourite - Eye Patch
Least Favourite - Dave Has A Problem.... Seriously
Humorous, entertaining, whimsical 3 Feet High and Rising is a trisector of fun for De La Soul's debut album. Cartoonish and abstractive this album pulls in the best from everyone of its artists. Unfortunately it was jeopardised for me following De La Orgee , everything else is chill.
Favourite - Say No Go
Least Favourite - De La Orgee
After hearing this I can confirm De La Soul is not dead. An album in par with their debut in every manner and although less jazz rappy sounds just as cohesive as there prior works. Just another step in the De La Soul journey.
Favourite - Millie Pulled A Pistol On Santa
Least Favourite - Any Skit
A revival album for De La Soul in the Cabin In The Sky and something i thoroughly enjoyed whilst cleaning. Its partially posthumous but remains jazzy and reminiscent of everything they have made thus far.
Favourite - Day In The Sun

GNX by Kendrick Lamar is definitely an addition to the discography nothing I found particularly revolutionary but overall enjoyable and marks the end of me rating Kendrick's music (for now).

Dealing with more modern post lockdown cultural issues Mr Morale and the Big Steppers outlines a biopic of Lamar's familial conflict and the future he sees for himself beyond hip hop and identity.

Kendrick's accessible pop rap album in DAMN. Although I'm don't agree with him naming this his best album I believe its constant reiteration of the sound and expertise we get from Kendrick, essentially another good album from a good artist.
Favourite - DUCKWORTH.
Least Favourite - YAH.
Is this really your favourite album or is it because Anthony Fantano told you it should be? Don't get me wrong I still believe this is the second best Kendrick album by far but I'd argue it's slightly overrated. An abrasive introspective album that holds up in the limelight of time.
