I really like Madlib's production style, and this album showcases a lot of his technique. However, I do think some songs drag on too long or are simply mediocre.
I LOVE how every song on this album is so memorable and none of them sound alike. I'd never heard a Beatles album before, but this already tells me these guys are LEGENDARY (obviously).
The sound is quite different from the previous album, but I don't dislike it entirely. I think the female vocals on this album are very pleasant, and it still has that essence of black country new road
A rather obscure (EP) album in terms of recognition, But that doesn't deny that it is probably one of the best Trip-Hop works in history
It's an EP, I don't have to expect the greatest thing ever. But even so, I liked a certain part of the tracks that were here
The founder of Griselda truly deserves that title, as Gunn delivers an incredible performance, I need more albums from this colective to listen to.
And one banger after another, MHHH! I love RATM so much, if you haven't listened to this album please do!
For God's sake, is there anything this man can't do well? Elliott Smith delivers another 10/10 album, both mellow and rhythmic, all with just a fucking acoustic guitar. My utmost respect.
I'm a little late to the party because @BlandPaper recommended this track to me a while ago xd
Anyway, I'm here now and PlayBackmaniac has delivered another quality track with a surprisingly catchy beat. I can't wait to see what he does for his EP.
Sade has to be one of the best female vocalists I've ever heard. Plus, this is in my top 5 R&B albums of all time, by the way.
A rather strange journey, but not at all tedious to listen to. The guys on the cover are funny and that's a bonus
An album with Sonic on the cover can't be that hard, right?
Well, this is literally one of the most original productions I've ever heard in all of hip hop. It gives me this strange feeling of nostalgia. I mean, I grew up with Sonic, after all, and this album captures That "magical" Sonic sound from the 2000s is great (the era of Sonic I played the most).
I think this album isn't getting the attention it deserves. I mean, Big Pun has so much flow, and a lot of the songs on this album could stand alone without features because this guy already does the whole show by himself
Plus, I'm a sucker of the east coast
And it will take a nation of millions to convince me that this isn't even a top 10 best Hip Hop album of all time
who wants to hear TPAB when you have this fire album 🥹🌹
