An almost classic from Peggy, better than anything I’ve heard in years. I really like how he’s fully developed and went down the rabbit hole on the production style from Scaring the Hoes and his last album. Well, it’s really always been his style but he’s really honed in on it this time. Too bloated like most modern rap albums, at least 6 tracks of just filler or intros stuff.

The album has an overall BEAUTIFUL message, and the production is 11/10 all the way through. I understand why this is typically rated so high. But, especially at the midpoint of the album, it got a little too sermon-y for me. Some songs I could listen on repeat forever, some I don’t see myself coming back to often unless a full re-listen. A shallow album of posse cuts/party tracks with pretty great production. I’m not disappointed though, I think this is exactly what it wants to be. Curry is obviously the standout. Nothing special here, but nothing bad at all either.
