Dreadgeist - HOODTRAGEDY
89

this album is one of my favorite modern hip-hop records, it’s style of production crafted by RUSTMAN and krysum is impressive and I would love for something similar from this artist to drop soon. amazing

Mac Miller - K.I.D.S. (Kickin' Incredibly Dope Shit)
70

Mac Miller is really thrown into the Pittsburgh scene with this great project. While it’s not my favorite project of his, I still think it’s very solid and really formed his career for future project. I really don’t like frat rap which is why this isn’t my favorite but it still has some hits. My favorite songs are “Poppy”, “Nikes On My Feet” & “The Spins.”

MF DOOM - MM..FOOD
100

One of the many great projects that DOOM dropped in 04’ and if not the best one. This project is surrounded by food, all the tracks are named after different foods or drinks and the album cover even features DOOM eating cereal. This is perfect, my favorite tracks are “Kon Queso”, “Hoe Cakes” & “Rapp Snitch Knishes.”

Tyler, The Creator - Wolf
100

Wolf is Tyler’s best work in my opinion. This album can’t really be described with words so just go listen to it and you’ll understand why.

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST
90

Tyler did it again, he made another top tier project. This album focuses more on sample-based beats and it’s pretty much a Gangsta Grillz mixtape as DJ Drama is featured on many if not all of the tracks on this album. The story is about him pretty much just travelling the world and the beats relay that same concept, which is what makes this so good. My favorite tracks are “SAFARI”, “SWEET/I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE” & “HOT WIND BLOWS.”

Thundercat - It Is What It Is
90

What a great project to return with, after his last project in 2017, it only left me wanting more and finally in 2020, I got that. This is great, the songs have a more upbeat tone to them unlike Drunk, which is what really makes this s good project as it shows the diversity of Thundercat as an artist. My favorite tracks are “Dragonball Durag”, “Overseas” & “Interstellar Love.”

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
100

IGOR has solidified Tyler, The Creator as one of the best artists of the 2010s, going from Cherry Bomb to this in only a span of a couple years, really shows how much he has matured as a musician with storytelling abilities and more mature themes, like coming to terms with his sexuality on Flower Boy. This album is one of his best, the whole story behind this album is really cool too. My favorite tracks are “ARE WE STILL FRIENDS”, “GONE, GONE/THANK YOU” & ... read more

Earl Sweatshirt - I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside
100

This album is a perfect successor to Doris. It's extremely experimental and it's an absolutely perfect project, really solidifying Earl as one of the best rappers to come out of Odd Future. If you listen to this album, that should explain everything. The best songs on the album are "Off Top," "Huey" & "Grief."

PinkPantheress - to hell with it
90

This mixtape is a perfect transition for this tiktok made superstar to become one of the most inspirational UK RnB artists of the next couple decades. Of course, I wish the songs were longer, but the fact that they are so short really makes you appreciate every little bit of music she puts out. My favorite tracks are "I must apologize," "Last valentines" & "Noticed I cried." The only tracks I don't really like are "All my friends know" & ... read more

This album is a completely different step away from his previous projects such as NASARATI & 7, pushing him self away from the Hip-Hop scene and more or less, adopting a new pop type style. This album was definitely worth the wait, but 100% should've came out sooner, as I think the hype kinda died down over the wait. My favorite songs on this project are "SCOOP," "ONE OF ME" & "AM I DREAMING." The one song I really don't like on this album is "DOLLA ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Bastard
80

this is a perfect introduction for Tyler into the underground scene, it really makes him stand out from the rest of Odd Future and really solidifies him as one of the most innovative rappers of the group, displaying a "horrorcore" type mixtape that no one in the industry had even dared to touch at that time. Favorite tracks are "VCR/Wheels," "AssMilk," "Bastard," "Seven" & "Odd Toddlers."
