It's fine. I think Katy Perry still plays it safe and the song is a masterpiece compared to Woman's World, but I know Katy can do more. Bandaids doesn't reach the same heights as Never Really Over for me and lacks that punch in production, songwriting, and vocals.
I didn't think there would be a Supercell game I'd be in love with the soundtrack of but here I am with mo.co.
The music is fun and varied from levels. I like that the songs are layered and textured, and while they could be overwhelming for a gameplay experience, I think it really keeps me addicted to the game.
The music is good on their own and I like that it transitions smoothly when you go from normal hunting into encountering a boss or something.
If mo.co goes eos, I'd be ... read more
More or less the same as Running sonically but with a more rock sound.
I was pleasantly surprised by the songwriting on Bite Reality. It felt like a step up and Running already had some pretty good writing with tracks like Reconsider, Tek It, and Empty Tricks. Clean Heart are Stupid Justice are some I want to name, but I think there are tracks here that rival Empty Tricks.
These tracks are Attack + Release, Can't Help It, and Avid Athlete. I think these songs are some of ... read more
It's pretty fun. Admittedly safe and I am lucky that I managed to dodge this song so its novelty hasn't worn off for me yet.
The verses are fine, and the bridge is a neat change-up that bridges do. The main meat of the song has to be the chorus of course. It's gimmicky and really repetitive, but it manages to be fun and catchy to me that I can't help but laugh and have fun singing along.
The end of the song did catch me by surprise, even though it was expected that they ... read more
AJR's newest EP was a bit frustrating for me to listen through. It's a mixed bag that shows improvement in some aspects but the same problems in others. I think the writing is noticeably better here with "A Dog Song", "Betty", and "I'm Sorry You Went Crazy", yet the structures are a bit messy at times.
I really have this problem with "The Plane That Never Lands" (and "The Big Goodbye" to an extent) where it doesn't seem to ... read more
Well done, Coldplay. You managed to make a consistently okay album with your poppy optimism since Mylo Xyloto.
I'd say that Moon Music was the most consistent out of the optimistic albums had it not been for We Pray. I can say however, that Moon Music is on the same league as Mylo Xyloto, so good on it for that.
Moon Music has far and away the best songwriting and sound out of the four optimistic albums, but the gimmick with the la's brings it down a lot.
The main reason that got ... read more
This is a really boring return. Katy's performance isn't there and the fact that Dr. Luke worked on the song makes Woman's World ironic alongside his lackluster production. There's no risk at all and I have a hard time remembering the song for how radio friendly it is.
Where's the vocals from 365, Never Really Over, Teary Eyes, or Daisies?
I don't know why I was hoping for more development from the Smile project but if the rest of the songs are like, then ... read more
If Brat is a masterpiece, then C, XOXO is a disasterpiece.
Everything from here is dodgy, from the mixing to the production to the lyrics. Camila doesn't even try to sing and relies on autotune as a stylistic choice and aesthetic without knowing what can make autotune work.
She's a good singer but this album showcases Camila very poorly as both an artist and person by how scared the songwriting is and how many bad decisions are made within this album.

What a weird album. I'll take anything from this as long as I don't have to listen to Thunder, Bones, or Sharks.
With Imagine Dragons' latest album, it ends up being their shortest and most wild for better or worse.
For starters, Dan's vocals are something to say the least. While I'm not the biggest fan of his singing, I don't find myself hating it, but in Loom, the vocals are rough and tired throughout most songs and Dan still decides that he should shout in ... read more
Thank you for keeping Navigating and Routines In The Night.
Twenty One Pilots' most recent album– Clancy, is an interestingly charming listen, given the album's inconsistency. In short, Clancy is a much more mature and improved Blurryface, but falls short compared to Trench and Scaled And Icy in terms of sound and songwriting.

I didn't expect Lenka of all people to get plagiarized but this sucks for OPM by just being a hit in general. Bring back and continue playing Uhaw or Come Inside Of My Heart instead of this
Color me surprised. It's a big step-up and I feel like it captures what Dreamland wanted to do, but at its best, the song isn't for me. And is it just me or does it sound a bit like Tangerine?
I don't like this but a 39? I'm having trouble finding the gripes people have with Mariah in this remix. Sure she could do more, but I don't see it anywhere near as bad as people are saying it is. Thought that I would hate this remix but it's more or less the same with Mariah I guess. It'll be fun to revisit both versions of "Yes, And?" though when I get better at listening to music
I really wanted to like this but it ended up being my least favorite album, especially after how much I enjoyed Poster Girl. The songs on here are really forgettable and even moreso in Zara's case. Can't Tame Her is the best song, like most of Zara Larsson's openers but it doesn't save Venus for me. The album isn't as painful as something from The Chainsmokers and the writing feels more genuine here, but the sound is so boring and forgettable. It's definitely not my album but if you see more ... read more
This hits me more than I thought it would and I find myself revisiting it a lot. A grower that keeps growing for me and with this being Olivia's second album makes it more amazing. I wasn't a fan of Sour but Guts captures that feeling I think that Sour wanted to do and so much more. From AJR being my most listened artist in 2023, I think Olivia might be the one I listen to most for this year in 2024.

I really like this and it gets me excited for the next big project from Amanda. The tracks feel more dancey and the psychedelic production improves furthermore here. I like the crunchy sound of this ep and the vocals were a treat to listen to. It may not be for some people, but Sakurahime is definitely a project I'll return to often.

I don't see the hype at all. It's not a bad song but Ariana could have done more considering how late she jumped into the disco revival scene
Okay, how did I go around from a meh response to being head-over-heels for this? My thoughts on the album shifted quite a bit since when I gave Fine Line a listen during its peak popularity.
Production with the pop rock, soft, lovey sound in every track is by far the strongest aspect Fine Line offers, especially in songs like Golden, and Sunflower Vol. 6.
However, Harry's vocals are probably at their worst here of the three albums he has. He doesn't pull off the notes that well, though there ... read more
Took me a while for this to grow on me since its release. Harry still sounds like he's been kicked in the nuts here but I can see his performance as more than that now. It's a really well produced song in an album that fits it. Can't believe the Fine Line album grew on me so much
I really like this. It may be disappointing due to her track record and the wait for The Fool but I think this is Jain's best. Earworming instrumentals in each track as well as some of my favorite lyricism, even if it's more on-the-nose. Really love Night Heights, To All The People, and The Balance
