Yeah, this is a really good set of remixes, which reminds me to increase another album's score
Biased? Maybe. I saw how much people loved it and wanted to give the album a listen. I did not expect it to be as fun as it was, especially with its opener, Electric Fish. Scratches the itches I had with Capital Cities' In A Tidal Wave of Mystery and more. Hoping for Ana to get more acclaim and hit the mainstream
Sorry, going against the grain here. One of Lana's best records by far, but with the highest-highs she brang, comes with unnecessary padding and flair that'll make the album bloated for people who aren't in the mood or are looking for more to make up for the length. You'll need to feel like listening to this if you want to like it
I don't have much history with the Foo Fighters but this grew on me quite a bit. Originally I had it at 70 but moved it up to 90.
This album is confusing, dreadful- yet uplifting and gentle at the same time. I think I can really feel the band's emotions in But Here We Are. I can usually get how an album feels but I felt lost and sucked into their world with this one.
Mature sound, lyricism, they made an album for a dear friend and it shows. May he rest in peace
Cute, short, fun listen from the Jackman. Harlow has a lot of potential shown here in his vocals, production, and songwriting. Can't wait to see his craft improve further more in the future
I was not expecting myself to like this as much as I did and I am grateful for the product AJR put out. It's flawed- yes, and inconsistent, but this has some actual good tunes from the band, which is rare.
Main thing that drags it down would be the songwriting, which is the most varying in quality, but shows a big improvement. The thing that makes me love this though is that they kept their sound while evolving it, because this is The Click and Living Room together in a nutshell but if they ... read more
I did not know that this was originally in 2022. Can't find this version anywhere sadly but I'll score it the same as the deluxe
This was a good listen. Loved the vocals and production but the album couldn't hit the same highs for me as the first five tracks did. Glad I was recommended this and gave it a listen. You should listen to this too
With how much I enjoyed Future/Past and Paper Gods, this was a bit of a letdown for me. Fits the spooky season and delivers in atmosphere, as well as having some great rerecorded, but I don't really care for this album as much as I'd hoped to, even compared to their early work. Really amazing album cover too.
Favorite Tracks: NIGHTBOAT, BLACK MOONLIGHT, SECRET OKTOBER 1ST, CONFESSIONS IN THE AFTERLIFE
Least Favorite Track: Love Voudou
Very rarely I'll talk about a rerecord or cover, even if it's big, but I can't ignore this. 1989 is Taylor's best rerecord to date, improving on what fell short and enhancing the best from the album. No favorite and least favorite tracks but I'm saying what I found to have improved the most here.
Most Improved: Shake It Off, Bad Blood
I'm still amazed that they don't sound bad now compared to the past. Or maybe time will tell me if it's recency bias or not
Review: This... sucks much like their other albums. It's more bearable thanks to its duration but nothing has what little charm they offered in previous tracks like Paris and Riptide. Production is more bland here with lyrics that make me feel nothing compared to the usual cornball. Was close to me having multiple least favorites listed.
Favorite Tracks - Summertime Friends, My Bad
Least Favorite Track - Up & Down

Jack improves further beyond his sound and becomes more ambitious in HiLo, hooking listeners in with the first 5 tracks. Stays strong until the last stretch.
Favorite Tracks: Cunk, Dead Weight, Coconut Ranger, Leopard, John & Nancy, It's Alright, Small World, Gettin' My Mom On, Pizza Boy
Least Favorite Track: Pad Thai
Less consistent than its successor but Midnight Thoughts, Vol. 1 has some of my favorite choices in production from Amanda.
Favorite Tracks: Rain (Like Heaven), "Step, Breathe (Interlude)," The Tower
Least Favorite Track: Falling
Cute listen and I highly recommend giving this a shot. Amanda's got a lot of potential and this is a great start. Hope to see more after hearing Endless Winter. Strong start, stronger end, with a bit of eh in the middle.
Favorite Tracks: Tell Me What You See, Before It Began, Do You Hear Me, Someday, Will It Ever Change, One Hundred Attempts, I Want to Dance, Farewell
Least Favorite Track: Going Nowhere
Same thing as the others. I think this is great for Cafune and there are very big highlights, but that's pretty much it. Nothing bad and it doesn't hinder the album but it doesn't push itself to the limits aside from those songs.
Favorite Tracks: Tek It, Talk, High, Want Me Out, Empty Tricks
Least Favorite Track: None really
Inconsistent yet filled with potential. I'd love to see more music from content creators because this band and Lovejoy have a lot to offer despite the inconsistency in quality.
Favorite Tracks: Lights Off, Find Me In Your Dreams, Silver Lining, Monophobia II, A Life Frozen In Time
Least Favorite Track: Queen Of Everything
As happy as I am to hear this track, it was unfortunately not really good. It is great for AJR standards and has things I like about it, such as the metaphor about an s on his chest and the production thankfully being the 2nd least overblown out of the 5 singles.
But my main problem is probably... the lyrics. The chorus and "I start again, somehow" make up for this to me, but I can't help but think, "This is the same shit as Ordinaryish People" and if you don't know, that ... read more
Kikuo has been dethroned because this is my new #1 for the year. This album is breathtakingly numb, boasting some of Mitski's best songwriting and production when she has already proven how great she is in the past. My least favorite track is still a good one at the end of the day. No misses in this inhospitable land.
Favorite Tracks: I'm Your Man, I Love Me After You
Least Favorite Track: The Frost
Creepy, raw, and empty, this album features some of Kesha's best sound and performances. It is also my favorite album in this side of alt-pop, which makes me feel worse for how much I didn't enjoy Post Malone's Austin.
Favorite Tracks: Something To Believe In, Eat The Acid, Fine Line, Only Love Can Save Us Now, The Drama, Hate Me Harder, Happy
Least Favorite Track: Peace & Quiet
