Me and my little brother argue over music all the time, but if I have to listen to the r&b and rap npc slop artists like Tyler the creator and childish gamino, he has to listen to knocked loose and bring me the horizon when I get the aux, it’s only fair, that being said this album is revolutionary. Some people just won’t get it

Definitely overhyped not a 100, but still pretty damn good. The problem is that Charli has brought hyper pop to the mainstream, I hate gatekeeping but almost a year after the album release, i already see people trying to replicate in my local scene but way worse.

Grab it on CD because I knew the biggest songs off it was impressed by the rest of the album it’s not bad considering I didn’t have hi hopes for it, expected it to be radio songs but it’s pretty solid

This is such a fun album, had to pick it up when I saw it at a cd shop now it’s one off in my collection, I shoud definitely check out more of this band because I fairly enjoyed it

Clearly influenced by lil peep, this album is almost 2 years old and have stood the test of time, as of recent he is releasing more alt rock singles then rap songs but that’s exactly where he shines I love his voice I love the raunchiness and the edge he has. Some of his best work is his debut mixtape, he was so head of his time. Call me cringe but I fuck with lil peep so heavy and to see his older stuff finally hit cd and vinyl is so bittersweet to me

The og recordings just make it so much better, and bumps it up 5 points form the studio release. The original record of cry alone, has become one of my favorite peep song. Like I said before he was so ahead of his time.

I had fond fond memories of emo rap, but I have left that in the past due to me getting older and graduating high school, that being said peep is the exception. Unlike juice, trippie and skies. Album is ok at best, I used to listen to it a lot when I was younger, but now I’m 20 and have sex with woman, unfortunately a couple of these songs fall under guilty pleasure territory for me. I’ll still go back to listen to some of these songs, but that’s all it is, guilty pleasure nothing more nothing Less. That being said he seems liked he had a lot of fun making it and was very passionate about it so I’ll give him that.

First off, I enjoyed some stuff from both of these guys in the past, for starters why is the album cover like that, it’s like they are trying to get called homophobic slurs. The line “4am I’m nodding off, hope it wasn’t fentanyl” genuinely is embarrassing and borderline offensive. Purple is a great album, it reminds of 2 separate vibes; long road trip, and drunken bbq core. Great album to sing to. Give me a beer, cigarette and big empty on que and you have a core memory. leans into a lot of lighter stuff then their last album but still sounds fantastic

I will defend bush for what it is there is so many better bands and albums in this genre but they got a couple of bangers, machinehead was my 12th most listen to song last year and that’s for good reason, glycerine is an all time great karaoke song

A lesser known band of the grunge era but still a worthy contender, only listen to the 1 album but from what I heard I’m excited to dig into more of this band, I nearly lost you has been on rotation quite a bit this week for me

I love stone temple pilots, their debut is nothing short from extraordinary, have you ever noticed that grunge albums have the best openers? We die young, them bones, smells like teen spirit? Definitely the least talked about out of the main 5 but Pearl Jam can hold their own, didn’t get into them until much later compared to the others and that’s really unfortunate, they are fantastic nothing proves that more then there debut, I find myself humming the riff at the end of black more often then I should
