When I bought this I was going by the safe notion that it was all encompassing of the story for this record, but it is actually really just re-recordings of most of the band's hits, covers and some deep cuts.

The rating is based on what the recording captures. Sadly, what was lost due to technical issues during the recording of the Festival del Amor 1977 would have turned this album into the definitive document of one of the greatest moments in the history of Argentine rock.
Although this double album does not provide a complete, chronologically sequenced overview of Tim Buckley’s discography, it effectively presents a curated selection of his best work. Notably, it strikes a commendable balance between showcasing Buckley as a talented folk artist and as a daring experimental musician. He boldly explores genres as rich and emotionally profound as free jazz, avant-garde music, and funk, unafraid to push the boundaries of his powerful vocal timbre.
