Nothing really blew me away on this compilation. Most of the tracks I enjoyed were already on the B-Sides comp. Just mostly decent covers with a few bad ones. Overall it’s a pretty forgettable and pointless release from an otherwise amazing band.

50yos release one of their best albums 30 years after their debut. They’re one of the few bands that stayed consistently great throughout their career and one of the even fewer that actually got better with time. This album is everything I love from Deftones packed into an 11 track album.

Overall it’s the closest thing to perfection Deftones have ever put out since Diamond Eyes.

In this album, Quadeca hyper fixates on chasing the horizon (for some reason), thinks about life and when he finally finds purpose again he gets swallowed by giant mythical sea dragon Danny Brown. Oh and Maruja is there too.

Amazing album overall.
