The "end" of a big era.
This is maybe the reason of why i made this run of sonic youth's albums, Washing Machine is probably the most perfectly ambitious album that sonic youth put on the table since Daydream Nation. This album have almost everything that makes sonic youth special and great, there is intense moments like also there is very experimental moments of their first album's, All of these things made of what i think, the best sonic youth album.

Hilariously wonderful.
¿What happens when you put the words political, fun and energetic?, well. The mix of all of that is this album full of the most amazing punk you will ever heard in years. Its incredible how im becoming more and more and more adict to this album, i think its not saying to much that this is one of the most special albums on modern punk or even on the whole decade but i guess thats just my take lmao.

They're back with the real raw production.
Sonic youth starts the 90s with probably their top 2 on their discography, Daydream Nation was a masterpiece on every sense and the band left a very high flag but Goo some how it's still as amazing as their past one. The experimentation it's almost gone here and the band makes some of their most noisy but accessible tracks, and with saying it's accessible and noisy i'm talking about tracks like Kool Thing, kim's vocals ... read more
The moment that the band was always searching for.
Well fuck, where do i even start. This album was talked too much on the rock industry that i dont even know how to describe it, i think a simple and effective way to called this is all the things that we seen on Sister but on other level, i dont think there is really a issue here (without counting Providence). On their past album sonic youth show a very intersting and creative combination of the noise and alternative side of the 80s, and on ... read more
