A mixtape full of Drake's hardest hitting bangers EVER. That modern, effortless, hollow-ish production style just pairs so well with Drake and his COLD bars (which is pretty NICE, MAN). The modern-day-boom-bap-ish production style, paired with Logic's amazing flow in a futuristic setting, while talking about his passion and love for the rap game...I mean, I don't think it's crazy to think that this is his best album (like right behind Ultra 85). This is not fire, man. The album itself not even bad it’s just so painfully underwhelming. This has been teased for almost 2 years now and all of a sudden there’s two more albums nobody gaf abt 😭?? It rlly just explains the lack of focus and precision on this album. While Iceman does have SOME lyrical gems, it just gets watered down by the lackluster track list. All that bluffing for some mid bro
Honestly I never understood what the hype was about for this album (pun intended). Upon first listen, I’ve always thought this album was just alright. Like a 50/50 ratio of good and mediocre. After re-listening to the whole thing, I will say that it grew on me, but still, the weak moments could’ve just been left out imo. It just kinda kills the momentum ykwim. A lot of really nice songs, but also a lot of “ideas” not reaching its full potential.
