I’m not a fan of simplicity in trap because it often feels boring and superficial, too one-sided. I think trap needs to be more layered, so I’d probably enjoy other works by Playboi Carti more. Still, I can’t deny the beautiful beats on this record—for example, I really love the rapping and the beat on “Fell in Luv","Shoota" and "R.I.P"
