Alright, so this album is somethin else. One of the best heart break albums of the 2010s and I think one of the best albums ever made. With only 12 songs, this album doesn’t have 1 skip, and it feels like every song changes the mood. From Tyler saying he loves someone in one song and then admitting he never wants to see them again, another cool part about this album is that it has a story, like most Tyler albums. It feels so cool to listen to an album that has storytelling in it. ... read more
Listening back to this short album, it goes into Ye’s softer side, which is a nice change of pace after TLOP. Most of the songs on this albums are pretty good, but some of them, aren’t so good. Since this album is so short, with even 1 bad song, can take an album review down by a lot.
Damn, this album is something else man. Going from IGOR to this? Is this man ever gonna stop making hits? This is that album that dives back into Tyler rapping his ass off like he did back in the day. And sending off his old personas in SORRY NOT SORRY? DAMN, this man is unstoppable.
This is really the same dude who made The College Dropout? This album is the true sign off from Ye making listenable music. This album is ass, ass, some more ass, one good song, and a little more of some ass. Ye needs to either just quit making music or get off that damn nitrous before he makes Bully, if he even will. And someone PLEASE take this man’s phone away. Like the song says, he is indeed going crazy on Twitter.
First off, I love Mustard as a producer, but this album just ain’t it. Since mustard isn’t a rapper, he obviously just produced the album and had a bunch of other rappers come on, which is my main issue with the album. To put it into simpler words, the features suck, we get some ass raps from pretty good rappers, and some of the worst Mustard beats I’ve ever heard. The best song is the one where Mustard is just talking the whole time with a beat over it, kinda like Last Call. ... read more
This album is the final (and return) of Slim and Eminem. It’s weird to hear Slim Shady rap battle Eminem, but I was a pretty fun album overall. Using AI Slim was kinda silly, he’ll bringing back Slim just to have Em kill him off was a stupid idea in the first place. It has some good songs in the mix, some more sad songs like Mockingbird on it, then coming right back to Slim to say some more out of pocket shit just one last time. It was OK.
This is what you’d play at a party, I’ve never been a huge fan of Don, because I don’t really like the whole “rock on” type of rap, but this album is a meh to listen to. It has some good songs on it, not a fan of the feature list though. But as a guy that’s new to Don’s music, I’ll give his next album a listen, might as well.
This album is widely known as one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever made, while yes, this album sounds way before its time and still holds up pretty darn well, I feel like even though this is a great album, it’s not even close to some albums, he’ll it’s not even his best album. This album has a multitude of hits, and once again is a generally good listen. But I still have to admit, it’s a classic for sure.
This is one of those albums that gets screwed out of a 100 because of 1 song. This is indeed not Ye’s best work, even though it has his best hits on it, it’s a very good project in general.
So, this album was an experience, not a good one either. This album sounds like you are listening to one HUGE song that just keeps going on and on. I almost fell asleep multiple times listening to this piece of garbage. It’s hard not to mention the Drake beef when talking about Drake now, but where is the good Drake that we heard on Family Matters? Drake is turning into a whole new loverboy after the bee, and for the record, I’ve never heard anything by this PNB fella, but my god, ... read more
Starters, screw Ye, but damn, this album is an experience. Some of the best Ye, hell some of them best songs I’ve ever heard are on this album. Runaway has made me cry so many times, it’s just beautiful, and I think all of the songs on this album are 7.5s and above. Even though the more Ye posts on Twitter, the more crazy he becomes, but I will NEVER stop loving this man’s music. End of story.
Man, I don’t even really have anything to say. His production is the best in rap in my humble opinion. This album alone with and have influenced the rap we know today and will for years to come. Best album ever in my eyes,10/10
Good mixtape for Pop’s early work. Very underrated rapper and unique voice. May Pop rest in peace. There are some misses on the tape but overall it’s well set up and has some bangers.
