Damn damn damn, this shit is simply too good.
Best song: I can’t choose
Worst song: Watts
It’s decent but some of the features are buns and it’s short.
Best song: Rock Bottom
Worst song:I don’t know
It’s pretty good, kinda basic beats but Freddie’s rapping was always on point no matter what beat he’s on. Some songs beats ruin them but mostly good.
Best song: Midwest Malcom (Inhale)
Worst song: I don’t even know
It’s decent. Gets repetitive after the first couple tracks but it stays pretty good throughout. Probably one of if not his best albums. Features were disappointing.
Best song: E85
Worst song: All The Signs
Straight fucking fire. Freddie’s rapping and Al’s production together is unmatched. Must listen album.
After what felt like a year of listening to this shit, it’s finally over. Midest of Mid right here. Favorite track is Partying & Drinking.
Ok, so I’m not gonna go super in depth but first listen I liked some of the songs, very solid. Liked most of the features, but I definitely won’t find myself listening back to it. So, as time goes by, I’d say the rating will get worse and worse, except opposite of the new Clipse album.
So, this isn’t a BAD album, but it definitely fell short of my expectations. I will say, the features are nice (like Tyler, The Creator, Kendrick, and Nas) and I did really enjoy some of the beat selection and rapping from Pusha and Malice alike. But it also has some bad. They put a different beat over So Be It which is MILES worse, pretty bad features from Pharrell, very annoying “This is not culturally appropriate” shit. This is the first listen, I’ll relisten in a ... read more
This is a masterpiece. Every track, every beat, every feature is top notch. Kanye’s best work. Why can’t Kanye come back and make some good music again?
CHROMAKOOOOOOOPIA CHROMAKOOOOOOOPIA
This is a good Tyler project, it’s definitely not my favorite but still for Tyler, it doesn’t live up to what Tyler has built for himself. Songs like I Killed You, Hey Jane, and Judge Judy are simply not my type of Tyler. But it has bangers, like every Tyler album. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s a must listen for Tyler fans, like every Tyler album.
Obviously, Tyler had better work. Gonna keep it short, it’s VERY experimental, not your average Tyler album, it’s got bangers, but also has some absolute buns. It’s pretty good for my taste though, but DEFINITELY not for everyone.
Oh Kendrick, while this being one of the milestones in hip-hop (or as people say) this is genuinely one of the best albums overall heard and DEFINITELY one of the best concept albums to exist. But even with all the love and 100s this album gets, I still fell like Kendrick has better, like good kid m.A.A.d city. It’s simply perfection! But still, I thought this was going to be the most overrated project of rap history, but I was indeed proven wrong, if your a hip-hop fan, this is a MUST ... read more
Travis Scott, so first off, I liked this project, I like the feature list, some of the songs are 9/10 and 10/10s, but the main thing is, I feel like this project as a whole is pretty forgettable. Like I Know? and FE!N are always going to be remastered, but some songs like HYEANA and SKITZO aren’t talked about as much as I liked them to, Travis DEFINITELY has better, but still a solid project overall.
Damn damn DAMN, this is the Nas I’ve been looking for. This album is a mix of true rap and some classic features on certain tracks. This is a rap classic. Better than ALL of Nas’s previous(and current) work. Enough said, give it a listen.
For how short the album is, it’s actually really good. Nice verses from Cudi and Ye alike, good beats, more heartfelt tracks like some of the Cudi songs, if you like Ye or Cudi, give it a listen for sure.
So, I’ve heard the hype, so I have arrived at the function. So as a straight dude that only listens to rap, this is kinda odd for me to actually rate. But for first album review, this is what I gotta say
Pros: It’s very upbeat and dance music, a lot of the songs are feel good and make you wanna jump, jump around. Some good spots, liked a few of the songs, nothing really playlist worthy. I can see why people enjoy this, it’s like party music, but for me, it’s nothing too ... read more
Ermmmm…. This album is indeed a bad one. Most songs on the album are pretty bad, shitty beats and verses. But when a songs good one this album, it’s a keeper. The only really good thing la that came from this album is She and Analog. But to each there own option.
The introduction to Tyler and his personas. This album, still having some of the most horrific lyrics possible, holds up pretty well. I know Tyler was younger and you can tell most of the beats were a work in progress compared to his newer music. I still really like some of the songs on here like Pigs Fly and Parade. Even though this album is edgy as shit, it’s aiiiight.
I will GLAZE this album ‘till the end of time. This album goes along with the stories in Bastard and Goblin, and ties all the story together perfectly. This album has so many hits, still having some goofy songs mixed with some of the most chill songs by Tyler like Bimmer and Treehome95. The story about Samuel being with Wolf Haley is so damn goofy, because the entire album just seems like a back and forth, I’m surprised Wolf didn’t do any horrible shit this time, buts Sam on ... read more
