I was surprised by this album, not because I have heard negative things about it but because I've heard very little about it. I know almost all the Peter Gabriel era albums and the following Phil Collin era Genesis albums but this one I've heard barely anything about. A transition period for the band as Gabriel had just left, but Phil Collins stepped up and took the reins. I wish I heard more about it this album is killer. All the songs sound amazing and the lyrics are both memorable, ... read more
First time really sitting down and listening to Deftones, it was especially nice listening while driving home from a barbecue late at night. Didn't blow my mind at first but a second listen a lot of it clicked and I understood why so many people praise this album and Deftones. I'd rate it higher but the middle section felt a-little samey to me but that's not a big issue.

Second time stroker
This album is... good. It's hard to explain as it feels like an expansion to Is This Is?, which is not a bad thing as the debut album was a good album. The 5 second pauses at the start of each song are insufferable I can't lie, I know it's a common complaint but it really pulls me away from the experience as I either check to see if the song is still playing or if my volume is too low.
This album just feels like Is This It? If it wasn't as good as it ... read more
This is a confusing album. I understand all the criticism around it but its highs are high and lows... kinda low? I've never listened to an Arctic Monkeys album before so I thought their most well known would be a good entry despite hearing complaints about it being the 'mainstream' album. Yes, it sounds mainstream but it's still good. Some of the songs are repetitive and then some of the songs are the greatest songs I've ever heard

Still trying to put my thoughts together but all and all this is a good album. For someone as legendary as Noel it's almost what I expected being his first album away from Oasis with his own band. Might I add "High Flying Bird's" is a fly name it reminds me of the Spiders From Mars. The sound isn't what I expected but it's still very good. The opening track, Everybody's On The Run, is definitely grandiose but doesn't do it for me, I like it but ... read more
Going into this album I wasn't expecting much as the previous album, Exciter, was anything but exciting. One day I'll do a full Depeche Mode deep dive and review in order but for now have this.
This is a good album, this is Depeche Mode. It definitely has some lows but the highs are HIGH. That opener, A Pain That I'm Used To is so good and sets the pace for the entire album. The album gets weaker around the middle and the closing song is good but nothing mind-blowing. It's ... read more
Y'know when you eat something and it immediately hits your taste buds and registers as good? It's the same for the ears and this album is the epitome of this. This album just sounds GOOD, everything about it is pleasant to the ears. Not many albums can achieve this and the ones that do can often come off sounding too same-y. Everything on this album has a similar soundscape but does end up blending together each song has a unique song that makes it easily remarkable.

First time stroker, won't be the last. I've heard of The Strokes but never really cared about them besides Ode to the Mets, I love that song. I forget what made me check out this album but I am glad I did because I can see why it's such a momentous album for the 2000s and onwards. It's a good album which doesn't over stay it's welcome it's all style and substance.
In my opinion, it's an overrated album but that isn't a bad thing at all. The songs ... read more
This song is as close to perfect as possible. This song always come on during the dead of night for me and sitting there in bed listening to it always makes me so happy. I love you LG
I've been listening to Iron Maiden for years thanks to my dad but this is my first time sitting down and properly listening to one. I've always wanted to check out this album as I've heard the actual song Seventh Son of a Seventh Son plenty of times before. On my first listen Moonchild was nothing special it came and went, on my second listen it's an amazing opener. The ending track, Only the Good Die Young, nicely loops the entire album as it fades out with the opening ... read more
A good debut album by a very legendary band but wasn't anything that blew me away. Sounds like Slayer but more raw and I quite like that. A few forgettable tunes but the good ones on here are amazing. Die By The Sword is easily my favourite Slayer song but the one live version on Live Undead improves on the album version a lot, I would definitely recommend that one!!

jorjor wells animal farm the album. What an album you are. There's not much left to say that hasn't been said about this fantastic piece of music. Whilst not a crazy Pink Floyd fan this album just blows me away. Everything from the animal noises, the themes, lyrics, EVERYTHING is fantastic. The album artwork still blows me away to this day I wish I could hang it on my wall it's so pleasing to the eye, even though it's a power plant.

As a once young Canadian kid and Pokemon fan Three Days Grace was always there for me. Having your introduction to a band being "Zoroark Monster AMV" or "Lucario Time of Dying AMV" is something that'll always cherish. This is an album that has stuck with me ever since I was younger and continues to age like fine wind, imo. When I was in grade 8 music class we had an assignment to draw/write about a Canadian musician, I chose this one. It's an album filled with ... read more
Everyone knows the song Heroes from the hit David Bowie album, "Heroes", but I never hear anyone talk about the other songs which is a travesty. All the songs with lyrics are PHENOMENAL Beauty and the Beast is an amazing opener and The Secret Life of Arabia perfectly ends this album with its unique sounds. Even the instrumental tracks on this album, which there is a 4 track run of back-to-back instrumentals, add to the overall appeal. While I have to be in the right mood to listen to ... read more
Second full Fall Out Boy album I have listened to after From Under the Cork Tree. This album is strange to me as in regards to the previously listened to FOB album. I loved From Under the Cork Tree but I felt the songs weren't as cohesive or strong, this album I feel is the opposite. Every song has something interesting going for it. I also like how the titles have started to become more simple LMAO the previous albums titles, while funny, were sometimes a mouthful and I'd get them ... read more
Definitely no bias behind this review but I truly think this is a top 5 debut albums ever. This album is just packed to the brim with uniqueness you would only find in the early 2000s. Albeit this is the only P!ATD album I have listened to in full I need to know what happened for Brendon Urie for him to make music like this and then release High Hopes. We need his white boy swagger back.

Thank you Spotify 'Discover Weekly,' for suggesting Helicopter to me. I immediately fell in love with the sound and had to check out the other works by the band. I listened to Banquet and This Modern Love as they are in the most popular on Spotify and fell in love again with Banquet that I knew I needed to listen to this album.

Starting off 2026 with a heater. I've never heard of this band until I encountered the song Starcrazy somewhere. I loved the sound of it and immediately went and listened to the album. It's unlike any other Britpop band that i have listened to and that's a good thing, they're different in all the right ways. The Suede's lead singer, Brett Anderson, has a voice like no other. It's harsh and shouldn't work but on this project it works AMAZING. The guitars and ... read more
Just a beautiful sounding album, everything sounds so pristine yet so raw for a Steely Dan album. While it's not my favourite by them I still truly love everything about this album, especially the soundscape and lyrics. It's hard to even describe the album besides PRISTINE as Steely Dan knows how to mix and produce a killer album. What more can I say?

While I am just a casual Radiohead listener and fan, as I had previously only listened to In Rainbows in full (which I'll review sometime soon) which did entice me but not as much as I thought it would. I have heard bits and pieces from other albums (like Let Down, The National Anthem, Idioteque, and a few others) what I had heard from The Bends always intrigued me the most.
