First 6LACK listen.
This is pretty lowkey throughout and may not blow you away, but it is consistently good. The production is solid as he includes a mix of his rap and R&B abilities while sprinkling in a pop vibe for good measure. It can be easily inferred this album is about love and how it should be used to resolve conflict as the violence and how it just is not cool to be acting all violent and tough constantly. The message of opening up and looking for someone to be around is a great ... read more
Hear the alarm and everyone knows whats coming.
This is a banger of trap music from the golden age of trap hip-hop. The production on this mixtape set the stage for the upcoming Future projects that came out. This is one of his more personal projects as well as the title, "Monster", implies he is telling the audience how all the vices he has and all the bad things he has done has caught up to him and the image he depicts of himself and maybe others around him as well. This has some vulgarness to it as Genesis Owusu lets the audience knows how he feels about the state of the world. The loud drums and his loud vocals on some of the more aggressive songs give you the anti-establishment feeling. He is able to switch it up on multiple occasions with some more acoustic ... read more
This is slightly less dogshit than Maid Of Honour.
This is the R&B part of the three album release and this is just as dogwater. The production is boring and lazy especially with what could have been done since Drake can actually make solid R&B. The autotune has to be a joke on this because it is the worst I have ever heard. The entire project lacks any substantial thought once again and I do not understand what compelled to him release three albums. This is one of the most ... read more
