starts off like a thirst trap and ends like a christmas song?? its generally consistent but i wish it was just aggressively sexy
okay, this is more of what i was looking for. has more throb to it, like banging on windows or shaking a locked door. a little less hollow tension and a little more adrenaline
tacking on "vol.1" feels ominous. im waiting....
anyway i like these a shameful amount. though admittedly my tolerance has dipped since the last time i gave msi a listen. but i cant bring myself to score them harshly

i genuinely thought i would like this a lot. im working backwards from dead channel sky, and while i knew this + bodies being burned were staunchly horrorcore and it is a striking example of the genre, it just wasnt what i was looking for and idk how much ill be coming back to
sounds like a dark pool of cold water, a bit cerebral in how it takes its time and builds up places to go. choosing not to be flashy serves its thesis very well. to me sounds noticeably on the cusp of the 80s, like i can downright taste it
intimate, vampiric, waist deep in velvet territory. i imagine midnight, yellow streetlights, slowmo walking and glass decanters. bad boy sad girl is a weird toss-in but everything else feels great
very luscious melodies, i like that a majority of the vocals are harmonized. the r&b evokes a particular softness a la h.e.r, its so apt that shes here. a lot of these songs just end without ceremony and its a little disorienting? but i enjoyed this more than i assumed i would
Revewing this ep in honor of the new music they put out THIS WEEK (im on mobile idt i can add it here rn). High4 i thought this was the end, i had a good cry back in 2017 over this cos u were gone forever, it was quite blatantly a farewell ep. I would barely enjoy this if i wasnt a stan, but fortunately i am. ty for coming back from the dead, H.I.G.H im coming for you, just wait for me bbgirl….

a little sultrier than the past two records? the thing about norah jones' discog is that its aggressively unoffensive. like im not getting mad at any of these songs. im not getting much of anything from them is the real issue lol
i had mixed but slightly warm feelings towards SAWAYAMA, and this holds a similar spirit to that. it feels comfortable darker, but more theatrical if anything, more stage production that i actually like less. but i admit it is more consistent than its predecessor so i give it golf claps for that
always more than the sum of its parts, the origin of my love for grit. sounds bigger when i listen to it in the ways of my ancestors (in a saturn packed like sardines with the windows down)
distant, bare and lonely. the slowness, the pounding, the rising tone, makes for constant tension building, always rising to a surface that very few songs actually like to reach. the other shoe that wont drop
their red sound can border on overbearing, like a mickey-mouse themed bowling alley with a pep rally inside, but this IS the ep that set the dual concept into motion, so of course the red is going to be all about attention-grabbing maneuvers
extremely colorful, taking you by the hands into a perky kaleidoscope that makes you feel uncoupled one moment and cutely joyful the next; despite her own claims, this really is something special. thanks to ReactToTheK, id be so pissed if i went without ever having discovered such a charming body of work

it captures the feelings of the protagonist duo well, but it barely movessssss lemme just get comfy here-😴
pretty and uncomplicated, i thought i would like it more but the lyricism kinda throws me off and its not aurally compelling enough to save that. also In The rain feat. Chuu when??
