if Tyler isn't in your top 5 rappers list already, this album might not prompt you to do so. but for us who already invested in the Tyler stock, this is another fantastic album to add to his current undefeated streak of insanely consistently good albums.
sounds like a NIKI song. i'm this close to liking it, but the instrumental is lacking a little and the song doesn't really reach a big climax. she's reaching in the right direction though.
it stays pretty faithful to the original track list. i personally wouldn't hate on this covers album, it's clear that the band actually gave a shit about who covered these songs and it shows. i love most of these new renditions. i think most people will only come back for the Ethel Cain cover and that's okay. it's very, very good.
any individual song on here? they're great, but an entire album of this? meh. the production and vocal style is way too mellow and not enough variation. it just sounds mostly like background music, but good background music.
average score is kinda too low. this is a fun song from yet another BP member. Bruno is on fire with these collabs btw.
now THIS is what I was expecting from her. the stock for the upcoming album just skyrocketed.
