i really am not a fan of the autotune vocals on this album. plus, the production isn't anything special most of the time. maybe if I gave this more listens I could see the score improving, but this is how I feel after listening once.
Yeah this might end up being their best album.

on one hand, the sounds here are very familiar, on the other hand the fusion of all of them is so new and different. April is a great songwriter and storyteller as well. she can do a hype song or a slow burner with an equal amount of passion. 100% need to watch underscores as an artist, she will blow up real soon.
I thought Vultures 1 was bad.. oh dear. someone tell Ty Dolla Sign to jump ship before it gets even worse.

finally decided to listen to my first Parannoul album in full since I was blown away by Gold River as a single. this is some of the best shoegaze and noise rock I've ever heard. yes, at times it may just seem like a wall of noise, but if you listen carefully the production is very meticulous, and it's absolutely amazing. this might be my AOTY.
