this album is akin to like Denzel Curry's "ZUU"or a Vince Staples' "FM!". it's a great little detour, that doesn't have too much substance. it's entertaining, has a couple hits, and perfect for a casual listen. the blend of upbeat genres is unique, considering Tyler has never made music that was specifically for daancing.
wish more artists would release albums like this instead of going long periods of time without releasing any music.
all these singles just feel like they're missing something. I'm really unsure if I'm going to enjoy this album, man.
this is like beyond comprehension levels of genius. they are effectively carving out a new sub-genre of experimental hip hop with every new single.

there are way too many vocal effects on these songs man. i can understand it for like 1 or 2 tracks, but for the entirety of the album? it's pretty grating. she needs to be more confident in her singing and her writing. the production is also just not experimental enough for this to be interesting. just go listen to Charli XCX or Caroline Polachek instead.
i'd rather listen to Farrah Abraham's My Teenage Dream Ended than this. at least that album is actually fun and somewhat ... read more
