honestly, I'm unimpressed.
the only good songs here are the ones where she gets carried by the features. she's not a great singer, nor a great lyricist. she has an entire team of writers on every song so none of it really feels that personal. plus, a lot of the styles, flows, and even production seems copied or heavily influenced by another successful artist, but the song ends up being less good because Jennie is performing it.

Goatchiko is back to her shorter-length albums with "Luminescent Creatures." While it is slightly less textured and conceptual as "Windswept Adan" was, it is still every bit as enchanting and well-produced.
COLORATURA and Luciferine are some of her best songs and this album continues her undefeated streak of albums and beautiful discography.

this album starts so strong, but then just fizzles out into generic pop in the 2nd half. wish she would do more introspective R&B songs because she does sound quite good when she's copying Ariana Grande 😭😂
