I've heard way better hooks from Anderson and Cordae doesn't say enough on this song. It's too short and feels incomplete. Produced by J. Cole? Meh. I expected more
Good vocals and songwriting. Just wish more was happening on the instrumental.
song too short. not enough drum and bass. still good tho
Not an improvement on the original. But certainly a different flavor.
On Feed Tha Streets II, Roddy sounded hungry. Now that the hunger is gone, there's not much appeal left. Roddy is trying to play catch-up with himself on this album and even though he sounds fine most of the time, the production is just not there. EVEN THE MUSTARD PRODUCED TRACK "Pressure" DOESN'T SOUND GOOD. These two are usually fireworks when they collaborate, but I guess this time around the song was just half assed seeing that the instrumental is super weak and the song is barely ... read more
Weak hook for Roddy standards. Durk's vocals sound off. Roddy's verse is just okay. Song is also quite short at only 2:30. Only thing I can complement is the instrumental.

If you do not like the vocals on this album, give it some time, listen to some other music, and then come back and it might click for you. The production on here is unlike any other Midwest emo album. The barely comprehensible vocals are a breath of fresh air, a great representation of the angsty artistic expression this album gives ... read more
I wonder when we will stop bringing up the fact that he's a YouTube rapper. This album might be just the thing to end it. And if we do bring up his humble beginnings, make sure it is only to praise his growth as an artist because he truly deserves all the love that this album is getting. This is beautiful. Absolute work of art.
Some of Joji's best songs appear on this album, but then you also have stinkers like High Hopes and Reanimator. The first half of the album is way more consistent and would be near perfect if it weren't for Upgrade which runs like an unfinished demo. Trim down the track list a bit and it could be an 8/10 album because 18 songs is quite long for an album that has no overarching concept. This actually reminds me of the same exact issue that Taylor Swift's Lover has. Too many unnecessary songs ... read more
