Playing Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream as I write this.
I genuinely don't get how an album that is so middling can be this well received outside of AOTY, well, outside of the recent shit bomb dropped.
Don Toliver at least has the decency to not drag it out longer than an hour, but even then, some of tracks should not be the length they should be, and cut some of that middle section out, makes the album less dull. (Excavator is a massive example of a track dragging out more than it ... read more
Although I enjoy the production of this project and the vocals Joji delivered (especially on LOVE YOU LESS), this could have been better.
I got adjusted to the short run times of the tracks here, but being honest, they still feel more underbaked. The features usually outperform Joji (minus Yeat), but this album is not a terrible listen, since so much worse dropped within the year.
I hope that the next project isn't this underbaked, but at least this album will serve as sample fodder for ... read more
Misleading ass title.
Going into this project worried after SAME SH!T dropped was something I hadn't felt since the rollout for The Fall-Off, but I was left more satisfying than any day where post nut clarity comes kicking in harder than... idk penis.

You know, if I had a nickle for the times I made a Denzel project my first review of the year the album dropped in, I would have 2 nickels, *insert text here*.
The Scythe showcase their potential here and I actually enjoyed a good amount of what they had to offer.
The only drawbacks that I have are the following:

2. Some of the features on here dont really do it for me (i.e. 1900Rugrat and Rich The Kid (ban ... read more
I listened to this project a couple of times now (2 full listens) and I do prefer this slightly towards TKC but more for the fact that have delved deeper into the boy$ music after the previous reviews, and some of these songs sound like their older material that they released, and I enjoyed it.
They did bring some of their older tropes into the songs here like in Leviticus, they screaming delivery worked for that track due to how hard everything about it was.
Some instrumentals on here ... read more
