I can't say I wasn't disappointed when this released. Every song felt so bland, low effort, and forgettable. And while the songs have grown on me a lot, I can't say this EP is anything other than mediocre Haunted Mound stuff. The beats are fine, but nothing too incredible. The true problem here are the artists, Buckshot and Hackle. It feels a bit like neither of them were really into this idea of doing a collab EP. They don't have the same chemistry that Turn and Hackle ... read more
6ix9ine's new EP is painfully uninteresting and mediocre. There's some harder songs here where the beats are way too calm for 6ix9ine's agressive delivery, and some melodic ones where every guest artist makes 6ix9ine look like an amateur. Even then the features aren't anything too amazing, though TrifeDrew managed to put a couple nice hooks on a couple songs. But like as a whole this EP is just dull. I can't hate on it, it's not completely terrible, but it's ... read more
Hits harder than a sledgehammer to the head.
That's really the best way to describe this EP. $oulbomb's loud, raspy and angry delivery combined with Buckx2's hard as hell beats makes for some brutal sounding songs, "NECK" being the best example. $oulbomb's steady, fast flows sound very nice, and amp up the intensity of these tracks. I can't say there's too much to this EP overall, but goddamn do the songs hit hard.

Biv teamed up with Dismiss to give us this short yet magnificent album. It's very refreshing to hear Biv on beats that are different from his normal production, especially when the beats are this amazing. They are still very grand and hard-hitting, much like other beats Biv uses, yet these ones are so much more vibrant and lively. "Slow Night" especially has a beat that makes me feel like I'm floating. It's really the production that makes this album stand out from the ... read more
Leaves everything to be desired.
The highlight of this EP is when it ends. Blueface gives you a big fat nothing on every song, with low energy, offbeat flows, and lines that are either mediocre or heard before. The production and the features don't really stand out either, everything is just kind of boring and uninteresting, like watching paint dry. At least the paint might have a nice color to it, because this is just awfully bland. This is probably the last thing I care to check from ... read more
Brokie went from doing something incredible on "fuck." to this :/. Every song feels like backround music, very chill and nicely smooth too, but nothing interesting at all. I get the same reaction listening to Gunna as I get listening to this, it just leaves me kinda unimpressed, nothing else. Yeah, "BAE AREA!" can serve as nice background music, but at this point Brokie has raised the bar higher than anything presented here, so I'm expecting greater things from her. ... read more
The first and last songs are misses to me, I just can't get into them. They're not bad, but the slow and calm sound comes off as kind of boring to me, and I'm not really hit with emotion like I am on the other two tracks. Speaking about the second and third songs, they're great. Brokie should definitely do some more shoegaze and rock stuff, it works out really amazingly here. Everything from Brokie's powerful vocals to the explosive moments of the production is just ... read more
Pretty good, just need more listens :).
Best songs: Show Pony, whatthehellishappening?, Creatures in Heaven, How I learned To Love The Bomb, On the Run

Not really feeling this one too much :/
This EP just feels kinda thrown together, it doesn't really have any certain sound. Now that would be fine, but the songs themselves aren't too great either. I like the slick, smooth tracks like "Yung Joc" and "Bonnet", they have nice production and really nice flows, the whole vibe is just sweet and fun. The darker songs "Blick" and "Olive" are fine too, I just don't think Tia always sounds too ... read more
Having a poop bar on three songs back to back to back should be illegal.
The first song really sets a good example for what to expect: boring and lame rapping with no personality. Most songs here are either dull as hell, or just very bad. Hearing Ice Spice try rage beats was interesting, what she did with those beats was the opposite. She doesn't spit a single memorable bar, nor does she provide a single catchy melody, it's all just bad. Somehow she has progressed backwards from her ... read more
Edgy af lyrics and cool sounds, I like it :D. The songs sound very similar though :).
Gonna listen to this in my castle :D.
This is the first full project I've checked out from both Lil Peep and Lil Tracy, and I got exactly what I wanted. I love the emo vocals on these songs, they sound really good, and I like that Peep's voice is more light while Tracy's is a bit darker and heavier. Peep delivers some solid singing hooks while Tracy comes in with banger verses that have great flows. Slug † Christ also sounds good on the first song, and I love the spacey ... read more
I don't understand why people dislike this, this is some of the best work I've heard from Shteppi. Her flows are smooth as they always tend to be, and she doesn't lack energy either. The production is very sweet as well, with the beats being nicely relaxing, cute, and soft-ish. The first song isn't exactly like the others, but even then it's a great opening track for the album, and soundwise I'd like more tracks like that from Shteppi. Lyrically the song isn't amazing, but it does set up the ... read more
Wasn't even Regular Music, was just Regular.
This whole EP is just Dillinger talking about random topics while elevator music plays in the backround. That's the perfect way to explain every song here. He's trying to be funny, to make comedic music, but it doesn't work, not for me at least. This kinda music can maybe be enjoyed ironically, but even then I'd be so deep in the levels of ironic enjoyment I don't know if it would be enjoyable anymore. Anyway, this EP is garbage, the last song is ... read more
Initial first thoughts review
I'm surprised how much I liked this. Post Malone's entire performance can be described as smooth, from his vocals to his melodies and flows. The production and mixing makes me feel like I'm floating on some songs, and there's barely any bad tracks on this thing. Maybe I would've liked to see a bit more creativity when it comes to the writing, but the lyrics aren't super terrible, and don't ruin this thing at all. A great debut album from Post, proper review coming ... read more
While not as great as the EP that came before it, "MORTEM SOLIS" is still a great effort from Turnabout and Gonerville. The production is really good on every song, it's so eerie and dark and creepy, I love it! Turn's performance is also very solid on all the songs, especially "IM ON FIRE" and "DISGRACE". What makes this EP worse than the previous one is the lack of powerful vocals. I loved how Turn switched between screaming and singing on songs like ... read more
Bruhmanegod always delivers on the vocal side. I love the big variety of different deliveries he uses on here, and his biggest strenght is still how expressive his voice is. The writing on this EP is also pretty decent, I especially love how wholesome "I Love My Friends" is. BMG also has some nice flows here and there, and the production is mostly solid as well. This project is good for what it is; just a few bangers to hold his fans down until his album drops. None of the songs are ... read more
I like what Darkie is saying on this album, but sadly I don't care for how the music sounds. Sure, some of the production is cool, and Darkie manages to have some nice flows, catchy hooks, and beautiful singing moments all throughout this thing. He also pours his heart out on a few tracks, which is nice to hear. But the songs just don't do anything for me. There's a couple good bangers, but often I feel like the songs are missing something. Maybe that's because a good handful of these tracks ... read more
Not the worst music Dillinger has put out recently, but not good either. The first song is pretty average, while the second song actually has some mildly funny bars, and goes somewhat hard. The production is nice, and the saving grace of this EP. Yeah, that's pretty much it. I just feel nothing after having heard this.
Best songs: None of them
Worst songs: None of them
This music is dumb. Like super dumb. And that's why it's hard for me to say do I like it or not. If I use my brain to listen to this album, I really don't like it. The mindless lyrics, lack of proper flows, it's just so mind numbing. But if I turn my brain off, I do like it. The production sounds very cool, and goes hard too. And Ken's energy, when it is there, is pretty fun to listen to and jump along to. As I said, this is some pretty dumb music, there's not too much to analyze or critique ... read more
