Too repetitive to be any higher but definitely a vibe

I've yet to figure out what it is but there's something that just resonates with me and other yung lean fans that is just not their for people that hate him. I dont know why and I hate when people fall back on "nah you just dont get it man" so let it sit with me for a while. But as of right now, unfortunately, you just dont get it man

Follows the drake album formula. Couple hits, a song or two in a different genre than he's done before, 1 or 2 features that make me go "thats odd" and a no hook rap song to show he's the "goat". It feels faker and less thought about everytime drake does this. Its not shit, he has 100 million dollars worth of production value on everything he does from writers to producers to features so of course its not shit, but thats it. Not shit.

I was waiting for jid to show what he can really do. I did not expect it to be this good

We get to see someone with the skill and attention to detail that kendrick has, make songs that are both his most catchy and radio ready, as well as some of his weirdest and unconventionally structured to date

Possibly my favourite album ever

It feels like this album was made for me. Production is weird and varied but clearly dwelled over with love and care. Melodies are catchy, emotional moments are emotional. If I have 1 gripe its the intro, I don't ever really care for spoken word stuff but sometimes when I listen to this front to back it sets the mood perfectly so I guess I don't really have any complaints

1 skip on this album for me. Otherwise perfect

A range of ideas all kind of half baked. The amateur production comes across as an excuse to drown out the poor vocals. Sometimes the mood works and a song captures an idea and works with it well but more often than not these songs feel poorly executed or under developed

I need to sit with it longer but I can see myself loving this. First impressions, somewhat unfinished feeling at times but worth it for the variety of ideas.

Edit: after giving it more listens I think this album plays to Kevin's strengths more so than all his other releases including the BH stuff. Boring, unoriginal, underwhelming. Thankfully kanye acting like a moron and him dropping his worst work happened at the same time so I dont have to stop myself from listening to him, he's just as shit as he is a nazi

Maybe it needs to grow on me. Some songs are dope and some feel like aoty bait. I don't like kmoes vocals but can see past them when the production is hitting right. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Solid case of so bad it's funny. I feel bad for people still waiting on wayne in 2025
