Ronny J isn’t a good rapper. Someone on this site called him Pi’erre Bourne’s evil brother lmao. The instrumentals
on this are quite nice, features did quite well but Ronny J himself cannot carry a track by himself. Couple good tracks, but also couple quite terrible ones.
Favorites: Glacier, Costa Rica, Banded Up
Product of its time really. Repetitive trap songs, couple of them stand out and the rest is quite forgetable tbh. Features did well here tbf and the instrumentals are quite nice. In overall it’s not terrible but not so great either not counting couple nice tracks.
Favorites: Audi. , OK, Fingers Blue
Good show, good soundtrack. Some of it on repeat all the time, some hidden gems and handful of forgetable songs. It’s quite nice and fits the show though.
The whole tracklist on yellow is crazy. This is definitely not Burna Boy's best stuff, but it's not bad either. I've always liked his signature style and sound. Love, Damini needed me some time to grow on me, and this album has also grown on me a little bit since it dropped. This is just standard stuff from him, nothing too special, some really nice songs but nothing terrible too.
Favorite: Buy You Life, TaTaTa, Pardon, Bundle by Bundle
Couple classics, couple hidden gems, and also some quite forgetable songs. In overall it's quite solid album, the highs on this album are actually so incredible. The quality is a bit inconsistent, and i'ts quite a mixed bag but omd there are some classics on this album
Lowkey ahead of its time a bit, the pop rap sound on this is quite extraordinary compared to the hip hop sound at this time. He was couple of years early, and was making the wave. However some of the songs haven't aged that well and this album can be really corny and cringe at times. I mean the lyrics aren't important on a record like this but sometimes this record made me pause and think. Still in overall this is quite enjoyable and entertaining
Their album from last year (The Big 6) just kept growing on me and it’s quite an incredible album. This album has also grown on me hugely last couple months. The album rollout on TikTok went crazy, and I guess some people expected something different from this album hence why the hate on this. It’s a fun album from NSG. They bring great positive energy as usual. And while they usually tend to go more minimalistic sound, the beats here are quite different from their usual stuff with ... read more
Am I crazy for saying Testing is better than this? It’s a solid album, and very safe release from Rocky, cannot go wrong with this. Has some solid evolving with his sound and creativity, but tbh I wished some more experimenting . Has couple really interesting cuts though and many songs with replay value.
Get this on green asap...
I'm a huge AJ Tracey fan, all his releases has been quality for me but this one is actually my least favorite from his catalog. His other releases has lots of more energy and replay value, but this one is also great with his flows and instrumentals. Nonetheless he still continues to grow as an artist, make something new and entertaining and keep his status on the scene. The singles are the tops tbh. and I hope Heatersz were on this but the whole album is quite ... read more
Just a quick homage to Werenoi who recently passed away, rest in peace. This is my favorite album from him. The instrumentals sound cinematic with heavy drums and dark synths, fits well on Werenoi. He has some variety in his deliveries, on couple tracks though the same pattern repeats and the only thing I wished here was a little more versatility. But in overall its a solid album Werenoi has good performance and so does the features.

A bit unpopular opinion, but I don’t care too much about this. I really love some other Tyler stuff but this one never reallly hit me as something special. It’s alright, I like Tyler he’s got some good music, this is alright aswell but tbh I rarely visit this album as often
discovered this way too late. magnificent stuff from him, one of my favorite compilations of all time. Standout project in his catalog to me, with some of his most interesting stuff with crazy energy and flows over awesome production. It's a crazy album and perfect way to get into his music, so accesible and fun listen from start to finish. This what he's about, shows his variety and all his abilities so well

Great tape tape, F1lthy's crazy beats combined with his flows and aggressive delivery, it can't miss. He goes in so violently on pretty much every track lmao. And to me f1lthy is a great producer and the tracks not made by him also hit

My first introduction to his music when he was featured on Slimesito tape at the time, but after online virality finally decided to listen the whole album. His pluggnb stuff here is actually some of his worst with lazy autotune and bland production, but the other tracks here are quite amazing. WIth some raw energy and crazy beats. Album construction is quite awful not gonna lie, because the highs on this album are some of his best stuff but after that we might get some of his blandest pluggnb. ... read more
I'm not a huge fan when he drops pluggnb style songs in between way different tracks on some albums, but funnily his whole pluggnb album is one of his most enjoyable albums and his best stuff from that genre to me. Easy to listen and get into. Great stuff from him, nice flows on some wavy beats.

Really nice breath of fresh air in the Lucki discography, a needed change at this point. Some inspiration from the Detroit scene with their typical popular beats rn (babytron as such) and Luckis rapping shouldn't work that well on it, but he pulls it off well mostly. Quite nice experimentation but not anything spectacular. Fun album though.
It's quite nice, the beats are very wavy but Lucki's rapping here sounds some of his least effort put into. Heavily carried by production and the best tracks here, other than that it's decent but not amazing
Favorite: no bap, super ski, 2021 vibes, new york
Quite fun stuff from lucki, some songs I barely come back to but these are mostly bangers. Not his most magnificent or groundbreaking efforts, but a smart decision to release this at the time when he was gaining huge audience on twitter tiktok etc. and it worked quite nicely.
favorite: kapitol denim, coincidence, dna, life mocks art, free sex, bonus tracks
2019-2021 Lucki was dangerous. I was hooked to his music at that time and the F1lthy collab came in a good time since he was blowing up (finally) in the mainstream scene. Fun and crazy instrumentals from F1lthy and good performance from Lucki aswell with more energy than usual.
Favorite: neptune vs industry, ugk, 2019, sparks vision, busy day
It's alright, but his other stuff is much more interesting with either better energy (his early stuff) or relaxed moments (i am > i was). This album is a bit unsure which direction its going and the effort falls a bit flat for me. I like his stuff though and there are plenty of nice songs here but nothing magnificent.
