Honestly, this album review is gonna be pretty similar to my last (Kyle Craft's Full Circle Nightmare), because it’s an alright sounding album that I feel like just kinda recreates tunes of a time now passed. I don’t mind taking influence from older sounds, or if you do take that sound to update it in some fresh and personal way, but this literally just sounded so basic that it’s alright sound got, again, diminished by not adding anything fresh for me. A nice throwback to sounds of 70′s rock and roll. And it’s a fun album to listen to and a great one to focus on Craft’s interesting storytelling, but it never seems to subvert a genre sound in any way or try to add much to one. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad album, but it does kinda take away from the pretty good album just a little for me.

It’s alright…just kind of basic rock that’s kinda fun but also kinda boring. Most interesting part was the last song that had a Return of the King amount of ending’s to it, the last one was really good though so I guess it went out on a high note even though the rest of the album wasn’t very interesting to listen to. Favorite thing overall is the dog on the album cover.

It’s definitely an evocative, haunting album. While some beautiful sections of music came out of it, I don’t know how invested I was ever in this, almost, stream-of-conscious eeriness. But for how much it really effected my emotional state with its strangeness, I’d say the music had to be doing something right.
👌
This record is a bit messy, scattershot, and it’s definitely not a well crafted masterpiece. But for all its mess, I still just couldn’t wait to hear each next song and find out what would come next. For all its flaws, at least its flaws come from reaching too far instead of holding back too much.
