Best rage album no debate. I love how cohesive and fun this project is. Every song stands out, yet also flows into each other. Died But Came Back might be top 3 rage songs.
I wish ts would have just stayed private. This is far in a way their most disappointing, underwhelming, and worst album. Even worse than Gore. The problem with new Deftones is that they don’t really sound like Deftones! Now. I know that the band is all about experimentation, and that’s great, but this just doesn’t sound like a project of theirs. It just sounds like a boring metal album. Deftones are great, they’ve always been great, and this being their worst album I ... read more
LVL is one of the greatest songs OAT. This album definitely leans more towards the Trap aspect of Rocky, but cloud rap heaven is still present. Goldie is a banger. Fuckin’ problems is a classic, although a bit overrated. Phoenix is top ten Rocky. 1Train is his best song OAT, and one of the greatest posse cuts OAT. The title/opening track is also top ten Rocky, and has his best flow. Not really sure what to say other than peak Rocky.
While I do slightly prefer Long Live, I feel like objectively this is the better album. I am bumping Peso every second of every day. Keep It G is also very atmospheric. As is Acid Drip. Houston Old Head is Rocky’s best rapping. Palace is luxurious, and Sandman…is overrated. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a great song, but some people say it’s top 3 or 1 in Rocky’s discography, which I don’t think is true. In fact, I don’t even think it’s ... read more
BigXThaPlug is the most overrated artist of 2025/2026. Other than Alex Warren. He is most definitely NOT one of the “New leaders of Hip-Hop.” He’s pretty much just a country artist. His voice is obnoxious, his bars are uninteresting, and he just seems boring. I also think the instrumental is just a basic, lavish trap beat with some horns in the background. Or trumpets. Or whatever they are. Don’t like this song one bit.
I’m not disappointed, let’s just say that. But I’m also far from impressed. It most definitely sounds like Kanye used AI, even though he said there wouldn’t be any on the album. He had over a year to work on this. Well, it was more like four months, considering that for ten months, he was…not being very smart with his words.
My theory is that the only reason Push and Malice released this album in the first place is because Push knew that ol’ Jeffrey’s files were releasing, and he wanted to make a final album to squeeze out a bit more money before his music career would end, due to his reputation being cooked.
Horrifying. That’s all I have to say. Other than the fact that “Satan in the Wait” is one of the scariest, heaviest, darkest, most cinematic, and greatest songs of all time.
This was literally the first album I ever listened to. It’s very special to me. While I do think Vince’s self titled and Dark Times are better, this no doubt is Vince’s most groundbreaking and experimental album. It was also the album where he stopped talking about him partaking in gang violence.
The lyrics are kinda corny. It almost sounds like something you would hear if the radio played Midwest Emo music. The instrumentals I think are GREAT. There is definite talent in this kid. I just wish that his lyrics weren’t so basic, and that his voice was slightly less nasally. I see a lot of potential in bunii, however, this was the first project of his that I have listened to, and it wasn’t great, so, even if I do believe this kid can become better, I think my curiosity with ... read more
Ts lowk ass. I don’t really fw it. I find the lyrics to be extremely corny and basic, so basic that it sounded like a thirteen year old boy that just broke up with his “girlfriend” wrote them. I know the album’s whole shtick is that it’s extremely minimalist, but that being what it’s supposed to be like doesn’t save it from being buns. I don’t like the quiet, basic instrumentals, I don’t like how the songs are so short, I HATE the lyrics, ... read more
It’s pretty good. I feel that this is probably Deftone’s worst album, as it’s a bit too edgy in some parts. 7 Words is the best song on the album. The edginess of the album can sometimes even get a bit corny. However, what Deftones is always about is shown here. Awesome guitar riffs, and great vocals.
Pretty comforting listen. It sounds like an album you would listen to on a calm, snowy morning while you’re in some small, local coffee shop in some tiny old town that you’re visiting because you have to take care of your grandpa’s house while he’s away. Frank Sinatra probably has the most powerful voice in all of music, even if the music on this album isn’t as grandiose and moving compared to My Way, or other projects. Something Stupid is one of the only few songs ... read more
