Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To

First of all I love the fact that you can call this 'Progressive Beatdown Metalcore'.

It doesn't beat A Tear In The Fabric Of Life for me, that still remains my favorite piece of music so it's a hard standard to beat. but it's obviously amazing art and a boundary pushing album for metalcore and modern metal as a whole. I love the whole atmosphere this album brings to the table, it brought me to a place mentally where I haven't been in a few years. The feeling of not knowing what to believe ... read more

Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: NeX GEn

Fun, but not amazing. Love how emo it is though.

Amenra - Mass VI

this sounds like you are listening to someone screaming from the depths of hell. with some of the most transcendental and heavy instrumentation i have ever heard. the production is so absurdly huge, amazing job.

Deftones - Diamond Eyes

deftones goes djent and it's pretty good!

Kara Jackson - Why Does the Earth Give Us People to Love?

Very dark and beautiful sounding record. Her voice gives me chills. Production quality very good.

Dorian Electra - Flamboyant

Man I love the lyrical contents of this album. It really made me think about some stuff for myself. Man to Man is my favorite track, just the line "Y'know I ain't straight but imma say it straight to you" pretty much says everything you need to know about this album before diving in. It's all so loud and in your face, the messages of this album are about as clear as you can be. Also I really love the music videos released for this album, they really add a lot to the loudness and the ... read more

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation

sounds like if motorhead and tool formed one band. i feel like the lyrics are quite hard to hear. but that might just be me.

Knocked Loose - Upon Loss Singles

Yeah we slappin real hard, they are evolving once again, definitely a sort of new direction for Knocked Loose. I feel like their sound is more diverse now. If there's an album with this level of songs I will be so happy. I do hear some minor distortion/glitchyness in the guitar or bass sometimes.

Edit; The more I listen to these singles, the more I realize that the production has a lot of flaws. Vocals and drums seem to be perfect, but something's clearly gone wrong while they were recording ... read more

Currents - The Death We Seek

i feel like they removed the part which made the last album so good. all the interesting switch ups and song structure, now it feels like 75% of the songs sound very similar. there are some outliers like "Remember Me", which is the highlight of this album in my opinion.

Currents - The Way It Ends

one of the best modern mainstream sounding metalcore albums, the whole listen is super enjoyable from beginning to end. with a nice climax at the end. keeps it interesting with the versatile song structure, switchups and extreme intensity switches. the album also flows beautifully, every song is placed in the perfect position. whether you will like it or not, purely depends on if you like this style of metal.

Cö shu Nie - PURE

super fun experimental chaotic glitchy catchy album. a lot of switch ups everywhere, will definitely hold your attention. something i can really appreciate about this record is how catchy but quite unique the melodies are. it also has amazing production quality. some tracks might feel repetitive, but i feel like as you listen to the album more it works quite well. it kinda matches glitchyness of album. i personally feel like it's a bit too much on the track " iB" though. i think the ... read more

(First listen) I especially liked the Hardcore parts

Knocked Loose - A Tear in the Fabric of Life

one of my all time favorite pieces of music. this hits so much harder than a car crash. i could go on and on about this album. but you should just experience this yourself. it's honestly hard to listen to this with the lyrics, that is a cliche. but i mean it, it is so dark and heavy. i can't imagine going through that experience, but this ep takes you along on the journey. it's so detailed, that it feels almost real. and unfortunately there probably have been some people who have gone through ... read more
