Listening to rappers’/producers’ earlier works is fun because it shows the progress of skill and talent, and this was honestly a cool instrumental mixtape to listen to. It’s fun, basic, and sure, not too crazy, but foreshadows what’s to come.
Not only is this my favorite album of the Phil Collin’s era, but so is it my favorite album throughout the entire Genesis catalogue. The perfect blend of melody and storytelling makes this album a great example of what a concept album should be.
