Actually when I first listened to this album I didn't like it as much as I do now. I had told my boyfriend that my original rating was a 80, him being the BIGGEST kendrick fan he was shocked with my rating. Now looking back at it, this was my 3rd ever album on my music journey, being introduced to such a masterpiece i didn't have the same understanding and love for music as I do.
This being my first ever Kendrick Lamar album, I immediately fell in love with Kendrick's lyricism, his poetic writing, his story telling and the overall beat/vibe from this album. This album will always have a special place in my heart as my first album for my ¨musical listening journey¨.
I give this album a 10/10, honestly one of THE best albums i have listened too EVER. From the very first song i knew that i would love this album, the whole vibe and creativtity of this album is just so wow. There is literally no unskippable song on this album.
