Has some great songs and ideas but also was the album with the most filler so far in their discography, still really good tho and obviously overdose and swansong are some of their best songs. (Overdose is better than the fix version of nymphetamine)
Dani's vocals reminded me of Cartman at times lol but that doesnt take away any of my enjoyament and the incredible technique this man always has in the vocals. truly didnt expect this band to have multiple albums that are so fucking good
4 re-recordings and 2 covers should not be released as an full-lenght album, uada was always a good band even with the fact that their last album was quite mid, Djinn is still an amazing album, but this is total bankruptcy of creativity, complete shame.
Amazing as fuck, everybody talks about the writting, but even with the fact that its a conceptual album, the riffs and vocals are still so incredible that they steal the show for me
I love dani's vocals and this album overal is just magnificent, amazing album with amazing riffs, Haunted Shores is probably my favorite but honestly this can change anytime because i just loved everything on this album
I really appreciate the band trying a new sound so late on their discography, and it worked really well, basicaly dimmu borgir slowing things down, overal really interesting and cool record, makes me excited for the new album.

These riffs combined with the symphonic elements are just crazy ts is perfect, heard It yesterday and im already learning to play songs of this album, everything so peak and so fun and incredible overal i love this

Every review on dark funeral albums in this site is a BEG for them to change their style more, this album is different from everything they done, the style changed a lot from the last album to this one, and its still hated as fuck, i guess this band just will never be respected in this site
What a letdown.
I was expecting this to be so good but well, didnt happened, first 7 tracks are cool enough they sound pretty doom with death metal vocals but goddamn, tracks 8 to 11 are just straight garbage, pure shit
The "bonus track" i guess? That is present only on streaming is cool
damn that is amazing raw Black metal, the riffs on this album are just so fucking good, theres no misses here but the 2 first and 2 last are all perfect tracks, the drums sound SO LOUD just like raw black metal usually has, and this album is a great example of this genre at all, amazing
Its fine, all songs are cool on their own way but none of them get on the level of their debut album
