This is my first full length $B experience, so far i only binged some singles and a few random songs and I am happy that the quality doesn’t do a drastic dip once put into this full length context. Second half is killer
Back when Snapchat AI came out, a few years back, me and a friend of mine had this idea: we would take some stupid topics that could be made into a song, like drinking tea or stupid stuff like that (i remember that one of those topics was warning people to use condoms, so that’s that) and we would type that into the AI, asking it to generate a song text in the style of a particular band. So we had stuff like "playing Fortnite in the style of Slipknot" or "eating waffles in ... read more
This is very uninteresting, just a typical, by the numbers Megadeth song. Very boring, very mid
While it is the weakest one from the modern Sabrina trilogy (i count it as such), it is STILL very good because Sabrina STILL got it
I can’t wait for a full length album, they are seriously becoming one of my favorite modern metal acts. I am so ready to see what they are going to do next. (Also Phasing Out is such a beautiful song oml)
Everybody knows it’s good, i am just slightly mad that Liberian Girl made it onto the album, such a filler track in an otherwise great tracklist
The first half is absolutely incredible, the second half becomes a little boring for a while before picking back up for a grand finish. Out of the last 3 architects records, this one seems the most grounded and energetic. Definitely one of my favorites
If you’re looking for some of the most heavenly sounding and beautiful songs you will find it here. If you’re looking for some of the most crazy and visceral expressions of madness you will find it too. Very dynamic, very catchy, very interesting
Galore is definitely one of my personal favorites when it comes to this new wave of digitalized metal. You can tell they went in with big ambitions. For a runtime as short as this, they really use every second they got. I hope they get the popularity they deserve
Really a nice entry point for Mike Patton, very versatile and quite catchy.
Just like about every other MJ record, this has some phenomenal hits but also a huge amount of underrated gems. Great record
I just keep finding albums that completely blow me away. You won’t forget the Black Parade once you’ve heard it. It goes way beyond the whole emo image that is tied to it
This is pretty much a time capsule of the early 2000s pop punk era and just like a time capsule it didn’t age all that well. Still there are quite a few songs that still go hard. Mainly the more emotional songs go over way better than i would expect. Songs like Emotionless or Say Anything seem surprisingly genuine. But then you have songs like Girls & Boys or Riot Girl that just suck. Overall i'm still gonna be returning to this from time to time just for the nostalgia
Each time i listen to this album i wonder how music like this can be so underrated. This is one of the most perfect albums i have ever heard.
While there are some amazing songs on here, i was disappointed by the amount of filler. There are moments on this album where i just get bored out of my mind. Luckily there are enough phenomenal cuts to save this album.
