Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare
83

Not as good as their first album but it keeps the momentum going and it's pretty great for that. Fluorescent Adolescent is peak.

MF DOOM - MM..FOOD
83

Very interesting to see gansta life be translated into food. As a foodie myself I agree. Beats are good and flow is great. Not much to complain about, aside from maybe the bits at the end of certain songs dragging on.

Green Day - American Idiot
83

The first half of this album is peak and the second half is (aside from Wake Me Up When September Ends) just good. Averages to an 80's rating methinks. Give Me Novacaine is underrated.

Tame Impala - The Slow Rush
84

Great stuff as per usual from these guys. Borderline is peak. Nothing much else to say.

Stone Temple Pilots - Perdida
83

Going from rock/grunge to this celtic/folky stuff certainly is a choice, but I dig it. Very chill, albeit very samey, album. I think it fits the new vocalists voice better than what they tried to do with the last album.

Return To Dust - Return to Dust
84

Pretty great modern day grunge. Goes hard and the vocals are great. Looking forward to future projects.

David Bowie - Low
85

Mr Bowie decided to try out ambient music and it works. Of course there's still some good old fashion rock here, sound and vision is probably my fav song on the album, but the ambient music is good here, really good. I get to have two cakes!

85

A very charming album. It sounds nostalgic even though I never heard of these guys until very recently. Trying Your Luck and Someday are my highlights.

Nirvana - In Utero
85

The final record from mr Kobain and they certainly went out with a bang. I prefer nevermind but the different tone they went for in this album is great. Heart-Shaped Box, All Apologies, and Dumb all portray this new vibe pretty well. We we're truly robbed of a great artist.

Gorillaz - The Mountain
85

After a bit of a slump from these guys, Gorillaz comes back with a very interesting album. I won't lie, I'd rather hear muh lyrics in my own language, but the fact they got so many different cultures and languages involved in this project is enough for me. We're so barack.

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
85

Really great punk sounding album. I hadn't dived much into pre 2010's music a whole lot so having this here helps to solidify the 2000's as a solid decade for music.

Black Country, New Road - Forever Howlong
85

Despite having to get a new singer up and running the vibes have not changed for the worse. This is a very joyous album, it just kinda makes me happy hearing two horses or the big spin. I look forward to this band's future endeavors.

Nujabes - Metaphorical Music
86

Production on this record is crazy, and the rappers invited on do amazing as well. And even on songs without rappers these songs very easily be rapped too. Lady Brown my beloved.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
86

This is an album that if I'd listen to again it'd probably go higher, but for now it's here. Very funky type of rap, works well, I prefer Good Kid Maad City though. How Much A Dollar Cost is probably my fav on the album.

Stone Temple Pilots - Shangri-La Dee Da
86

Underrated Album from these guys. It's not giga grunge like their early work and I'm honestly okay with that. I think hating on these guys nowadays just because they don't do le grunge is bad faith. It has a nice sound to it, I likey.

Sweet Trip - You Will Never Know Why
86

Has a nice ethereal vibe while also cutting down on the glitchy noises their previous album had. Milk is peak.

Nick Drake - Pink Moon
86

Very chill album. Not much to say really it's just a great, chill album.

Kendrick Lamar - Section.80
86

Better than people give it credit for. Doesn't have the scope or pizzaz of his future records but not everything has to absolutely blow your mind. Poe Mans Dreams is prolly my fav song on this record.

Tame Impala - Currents
86

Very vibey and psychadelic. Not as good as lonerism but it is his most known record for a reason. Also found out let it happen has the stupid twitter meme guitar riff so I laughed very hard on my first listen.

Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
87

Radiohead's latest album and it's very much peak. True Love Waits finally getting a studio release is noice, and I prefer it to the live at oslo version tbh. Very somber record, even compared to other radiohead works. Would Recommend.
