midcity is an album I heard once last year, thought was okay and didn't return to anything else off it except for mobb2it until I finally re-listened to it tonight. I appreciated it more than the first time I heard it.

intro is okay. Mainly rapping and noise.
loud is a lot of noise with some mostly pitched down vocals. It's okay.

This is probably the first field recording 'mixtape'/'album' I've heard. I'm not very familiar with the genre so I don't really know what to say about it. I've only ever really experienced field recordings when there are elements of it mixed in with other stuff (like in the intro of the song, The Bends by Radiohead, or the album, Campfire Songs by Animal Collective - which is easier to get into because The Bends is an alternative rock song and Campfire ... read more

It's pretty good. The production is good and Daveed's flows are crazy fast on this one.

Some random non-album single stuck in between dba118 and midcity. It's okay. Not super memorable.
