Was already quite familiar with most of the songs so I knew i was going to love this. An album that is hypnotising while still maintaing a laid-back, groovy feeling, and the result is an album that is exceptionally fun.
Listening to this album feels like being in your own little bubble if yk what I mean.
A record that truly feels alive. Just as you think they've pigeonholed themselves into a sound they switch it up again, and it's this playfullness that elevates The Stone Roses' self titled album from an album into an experience. Favourite tracks are made of Stone, Shoot Me Down, and I Wanna Be Adored.
Don't usually listen to compliations, but if you told me this was a concept album wouldn't even dobut you. Such great songwriting and has an almost homemade feel to them that just brings me so much comfort. Such an underrated artist.
Fakemink continues to get better, this is probably his most conceptaully sound project yet. Love how Mr. Mink hasn't pigeonholed himself yet and continues to experiment with different sounds.
Some of the best songwriting on an album ever. Like a rolling stone and desolation row are basically perfect.
Still find myself coming back to this one, inshallah it will get that Spotify release
Not a single track that could even constitute a bad song, I always find myself coming back to this record. Brian Wilson is 100% a musical genius. I don't even think I could pick a favourite song from this it just depends on my mood. Perfect perfect album.
Lovely atmospheric vapour record, has a very mysterious air to it, and explores the different possibilities of the sound in an almost voyeuristic manner. I do think there is a slight drop in quality in the second half, still lovely stuff from Lopatin. Shouts out to the Safdie bros for putting me on.
nowhere near as bad as everyone else is saying it is, obviously ian is biting the sound of other black artists and doesn't feel authentic, but its a dumb fun frat boy rap mixtape nun special but nun as horrible as everyone is saying
Definitely a good album, but don't see why its put in the same tier as Funeral, which is far superior imo
Crazy how much confidence LUCKI exudes at just 17. Wish we could see more projects with this sound.
Probably a flawed album but early chance just has a special place in my heart man
Some misses here and there but some special songs make up for it
