Definitely started to lose me in the second half but man those first 3 songs are really entrancing and unique

call this album a frog the way it's jumping around but it's just like so awesome
also I like the part on Yaya Touré where he says "got ya" but it sounds like "ka-chan"
Very consistent and solid shoegaze- don’t know how memorable it is tho
eh. At least there are elements of these songs that I like. That’s something. Right?
Idk I was hopefully optimistic given the quality of her last EP- this is pretty in one ear out the other unfortunately
Really grew on me as I listened because the production is killer. Vocals tho (especially in the beginning) can be rough
Sadly I feel like the drums and vocals really hold this back from sounding interesting
I am completely blown away- this is easily the most a live recording has captured me. Extremely impressed by this, especially given her last album (which i found pretty underwhelming). Extremely consistent tracklist and a great night vibe
He's still undeniably got a pretty great voice- but I found this a lot less interesting than his release from last year
While it may lack as much sonic variety as Deathconsciousness (an album pretty impossible to live up to), what's here is pretty much everything I loved from that album. These incredibly dark and moody songs have such incredible atmosphere and the whole thing comes together really well. Also love how something about it makes me want to throw up
Total mixed bag- there are some really great songs here (especially the very beginning and end) but WOW there are some that just don't work at all (looking at you title track). I appreciate that it tries to do a lot, but many of these songs just come out to be total messes in my eyes.
